Conundrum Rooms — Local services in Jackson Township

There are better escape rooms in the area. This one is fine, but some of the clues are almost lazy - one code opens multiple locks (with nothing to clue you in that it will work for two things, so you assume it’s only for one), lots of things you either have to guess, or you would just never think of, nothing points you in a direction - it’s not cohesive. It clearly makes sense to whoever is making up the rooms, but if you don’t think the way they do, you’re just going to sit there and need lots of clues. There were multiple points where I kind of just gave up and sat back until my partner was ready to ask for a clue because there was just nothing to go on.

We’ve done 2 rooms here, and tons of rooms elsewhere - we’re pretty good at these. I just don’t recommend this one, it’s not worth it. You’ll pay a little more elsewhere, but it’ll be a better experience.

We also started late due to another group ending late (which is fine) but then the owner proceeded to talk to us for at least another 10 minutes after resetting the room before we could even get started. Then he talked to us for a while at the end as well. It’s a business, I get it, you wanna be friendly, but what if we had somewhere to be afterwards? You already started us late, be respectful of our time.

It’s definitely not the worst escape room place I’ve ever done, but it’s pretty low...

Jim the co-owner was absolutely fantastic. He really made the experience for us. When my wife and I got there we booked the heist room. We are pretty bad at escape rooms despite our love for them so he suggested we try the Christmas one instead since the heist one is the hardest. He even took the time to reset it even though it wasn’t technically available at that time.

He was incredibly helpful and friendly. He really made the experience for my wife and I. He prioritizes the customer experience and wants to make sure you have a good time. We have never won an escape room but Jim was extra gracious with the clues so we were finally able to win one. I honestly could not recommend an escape room more. The attention to detail, how everything is hand made by Jim & how his fellow co-owner Mike sets up the clues really makes it a unique experience compared to many of the other cookie cutter escape rooms.

I would recommend any of the rooms whether you are a novice or an expert you’ll be sure to have a good time. And once you finish your room win or lose I highly recommend stopping next door to their candy & ice-cream store! And maybe if you’re lucky you’ll be able to meet Jim’s...

My husband and I had a rough start coming through the doors! My husband was sitting in the flaming hot seat of a wife that no husband wants to sit in, ( The dog house) before booking. Thinking quick on his feet to turn the day around, he booked an escape room. Despite wanting to lock my husband in the escape room forever, I got my head in the game and we did well together on the Heist. It was super fun and it really helped me take my mind off our busy life. It’s a very welcoming place, it was clean, organized and gave off the impression of an escape room that I’ve only seen in movies and for me, that was the beauty in this place. Next booking is on me, I’m definitely going to experience every room in there! I really enjoyed myself and had a blast!
