Pick’em Up Joe Coffee Co. — Restaurant in Jackson Township

Accidentally went during the farmers market and before an OSU game, so it was packed! The line went all the way back to the back room. Service was still extremely quick, friendly, and I didn’t feel like they were stressed from the rush. The cashier was very kind and told us which kolaches were still available. We got an everything bagel bomb and a beef and jalapeño. I grew up getting kolaches in Texas and this is by far the closest thing to authentic kolaches that I’ve ever had in the Midwest. They tasted fresh and were so delicious and hot! We had our drinks right after we finished ordering which were also amazing. I’ve been here 3 times since they opened. The first two experiences were great. I got the Nutella Kolache and Cinnamon rolls. However, today, they were out of almost every kolache before noon, but they don’t close until 3pm. I am confused because the first 2 times I went, they had staff baking and making fresh food at this time, but they did not today. Honest review. Bacon,egg cheese sandwich. Bacon under cooked, soggy. Egg and cheese are delicious, but the toppings on the bun need to minus the dried minced onion. Overpowers the taste, making it too salty. Poppies seeds and sesame seeds are enough. Cold coffee ok. Tastes bitter. I prefer to add my own almond milk. Cinnamon roll disappointing.
