Roberts Jewelers — Attraction in Jackson

I dont often leave reviews, but i couldnt let this opportunity go by. My son, a soldier... was shopping for an engagement ring, being out of state, with limited shopping time after duty hours, and vague knowledge of diamonds, proved to be difficult for him! I asked him if he would like me to check with a reputable jeweler , just to see what they had in stock and if it was even possible to get it quickly, as his girlfriend was going to visit in a week &1/2. I met with Janet, very close to their closing hours as I just left work myself . Explaining the situation to Janet, she jumped right into action... eager to help ! She looked at the picture of a ring he wanted, took a setting, found his diamond of choice, temporarily set it, took several pictures , sending all of them to my son! I was talking to my son on the phone through most of this giving details, (which normally seems rude in public, but was necessary ) the owner and all the staff were so accommodating… Even while ready to close for the day, never once let me feel hurried or unimportant or a bother ! they shipped the beautiful ring overnight! I was very skeptical when trying to select a jeweler. Who could I trust? Can I afford what I’m really wanting? These were questions that I had as I was going from store to store trying to see who could create my perfect ring. My mother had a diamond that she had been saving for me all of my life. This diamond has been appraised and is very rare in being considered a “perfect diamond.” Again, who can I trust to take this diamond and incorporate it in being apart of my wedding ring set. This was a huge deal for me because when I went into the big chain corporations I didn’t feel that they understood just how important this was to me. However, when I visited Robert Jewelers, I knew this is it. They were all so friendly as soon as I walked through the door. The jeweler himself came to speak with me and he assured me he would create my perfect ring! I literally cried when I got my ring. It was PERFECT! I purchased a Glock watch here. The band broke within 5 days. Called them up, said they would replace the band, just bring it in. Drive from Huntingdon to do this. Got there and another woman told me that they would have to send it to Glock to get it repaired. All it needed was the band replaced. I explained to her I did not want to have that done because I’ve heard horror stories of people having their watches sent out to get them repaired and people who know that it’s a watch will steal it. I contacted Glock about getting the band replaced, and they said the certificate would have to be filled out by the jewelry store.
