731 Sports Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Jackson

I walked in today at 3 pm to get a couple of burgers and some appetizers. I was greeted at the door by someone from the kitchen. I asked to sit in the bar and he said to just seat myself. I sat down at a high top right by the bar. The same gentleman brings me a couple of menus. I then continued to sit there for over 25 minutes without anyone else acknowledging me at all. I was waiting for my husband, but the waitresses walked past me several times. They never said hello, asked me if I wanted anything, looked at me, NOTHING! It was like I was invisible! There weren't that many people sitting at the high tops, and the dining area was empty, so it's not like they were slammed. In fact one of the waitresses stood over at the bar chatting with the bartender for quite some time. I thought maybe they could tell that I was waiting for someone and they were waiting until my other party to arrive to come to our table, but even after he came in no one paid any attention to us. We usually have a really great experience here, but not today!!! We finally gave up and left. I guess we'll give our money to...

I came in today to get 2 tacos and a drink. It was 7.23. The waitress charges my card and my sister left a cash tip on the table. That was over an hour ago. I get notified thru my bank that 20 min ago my card was charged 10.00. I didn't leave a tip on my card. She said she accidentally left herself a tip. The manager went along with what the waitress said didn't try to explain anything except for what the waitress said. Never an apology either!! So these people here just leave a tip on your card when they want to and the manager had the audacity to tell me he had a problem with me in the past. No sir wrong person. I've never had an issue here but when someone leaves theirselves a 10.00 tip I have a huge problem! He wouldn't let me speak to anyone else but anyone reading this make sure you DO NOT use your card here. I will be reporting this to the BBB if the charge isn't reversed! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS PLACE! First time trying this place and it was AWESOME! First off the Chicago Cubs referenced food items on the menu made me feel like I was at Home (Originally from Chicago) and die harf Cubs fan! Also has Cubs and other sports teams memorabilia throughout. The best part was the food! The appetizer shrimp and the grand slam nachos with bbq pork were the BEST! On the downside and the reason I did not give them 5 stars is because we sat at the bar and the bartender wasn't very friendly and the drinks were just horrible! We both ordered Jack and Coke whivh is hard to screw up and the worst part was it wasn't real Jack Daniels in the bottle. Believe me when I say we know our Jack and it was a HORRIBLE drink. I also ordered a Stella Artois in the bottle that was only slightly chilled. I asked for a frozen mug and was given a mug from the same cooler which wasnt even cold. I want to go back and try them a second time but don't want to waste money on bad...
