HORRIBLE!! I took my 2 kids there tonight for dinner. When I go to longhorn i always order a ribeye. I also got loaded mashed potatoes and a salad. I always get my steak medium well. A little bit of pink in the middle. So, tonight I of course ate my salad first. Then our food was brought out. My steak visually looked odd. Looked like it had a red seasoning on it. I took one bite of it and probably chewed on it for probably 2 minutes. I was trying to tell the waitress that it was well done but literally had to drink some of my drink because it was SO DRY AND SPICY! Never had a “spicy” ribeye from there and cannot eat spicy food. She took it back. The second steak that came was had blood on the plate and obviously was rare. She took it back! The MANAGER KIM brings it back out to me! The same steak, I cut it open I said “do you think this is medium well”? She said “actually yes I do” I said it was still undercooked it was at best medium. I said what is going on with the person on the grill because this is ridiculous! She shrugged her shoulders and said I don’t know. I said I don’t want this and you can take my meal off. She said I will cook it more for you and take it off. I said so you’re just going to keep going back and forth trying to cook the same raggedy cut up steak. She said “well I’m taking it off your ticket”. SMH I said please cook it medium well with a little bit of pink and put it in a to go box. The waitress then brings it out and ITS WELL DONE AGAIN!! I told our waitress, Kendall, that doesn’t reflect her and her service that she didn’t cook it nor is she the manager! I told her I have never been there and had to have my steak RECOOKED FOUR TIMES!!! Then KIM THE MANAGER had a I don’t give a crap attitude!! Which pissed me off even more!!! So my dinner consisted of a house salad DRENCHED in ranch dressing was supposed to have everything no cucumbers. It didn’t have cucumbers or tomatoes. When I FINALLY got a chance to ask my waitress about the tomatoes not being in there she said that they were out. Then said well there may be some in the back but no one had gone to look but she would. Told her no that was ok don’t worry about it. Then, I had my loaded mashed potatoes! So, a part of a salad and mashed potatoes is what I ate for dinner! Now, I have a steak that once I reheat it will probably be so tough I won’t even be able to eat it!! BEYOND PISSED!!!!! I wish I had taken...
Read moreBeen coming here since HS! NEVER had an experience like Friday night. The waiter was disgusting, rude and not properly trained spilling an alcoholic drink on table in front of my toddler, waited for water for 40 mins after every drink they gave me had black specks floating in it or tasted like syrup. THE WAIT TO BE SEATED ALONE WAS 77 mins and I happily waited knowing I would enjoy the food and atmosphere NOPE! I am a sucker for their lamb (or Carrabas but that’s in Memphis) so Longhorn it was! Every dish they bought to the table was FILTHY!!! a $30 plate of food that looked like it’d be fixed in a porta potty!!! And get this! THE MANAGER GAVE IT TO ME! with pride she set that dirty nasty plate in front me with corn pieces from another table, the entire plate was black and grimmy like! my sons kids meal burger looked like we made it a campsite, food stuck to bottom of plate top of burger black like sooooo many hands was touching everything and they were ALL dirty! Even the cup she finally gave me water in was dirty!!! Food stuck on the outside! Not properly washed at this pt I had no option but to leave!! Lobster chowder was disgusting and tasted like clumpy salt balls! The salad had a stinch and WAYYY too much wilted pieces! I won’t be back to this location so thanks for that! Waiter was probably just another hater and I’m good tipper too (in the world of entitled tip culture) but apparently other tables were more important even though we were sat right by the kitchen she started ignoring us completely NOT TO MENTION she allowed my little one to order without even meeting or seeing me first I DID NOT like that AT ALL either! I was patient in this experience and ended up leaving after they gave entrees. We didn’t have to pay which whatever we had drinks it would’ve been much cooler to actually enjoy our meal as a previous culinary student and very busy home body mom when we go out I pick “the best” and longhorn has NEVER disappointed and this location I was so speechless leaving just disappointed in them but I forgave and the night was not ruined! Thank you to the Family fun center (reviewing next) Hey JACKSON...
Read moreFor a restaurant that claims steaks done right. I would have to disagree with that statement. The last two times I've been there they have failed miserably. I only order filet mignon and always order it medium well. Not bloody and nasty as the last two times. Then they try telling my wife and I the her sirloin was the filet mignon. First of all, if your a so called steak house you should learn your cuts of meat. The waitress messed up the order which was clear. The girl, not our waitress that brought the food to us couldn't remember which steak was which. Then the staff wanted to argue with someone who actually knows there cuts of meats. Then they bring out the manager who again tries to argue with us that the sirloin which was like cutting through leather was the filet mignon. Wrong yet again. So the bring out a real filet mignon which it was still not even close to medium well., so it goes back for a third try to get it cooked right, by this time my wife finished her meal. The steak after the third or four bite I was done with it any the restaurant, asked for a to go box thing our dog might enjoy some. I guess you can't expect anyone there to know their job when a manager with an attitude doesn't know his cuts of meat nor does he know anything about customer service. So why would his cooks know how to properly cook a steak, the waitress came back and asked did my manager say anything crazy, which tells me he was in the back bad mouthing us for his lack of intelligence. The waitress we had was just as bad has her manager. In a restaurant environment waitresses and waiters should learn a Tip is something that is earned not given. The waitress should consider herself lucky that she even got a tip. Everyone that had a part in our dinning experience, the manager and waitresses all failed miserably at there jobs. To be fair they did comp my filet mignon, which I was afraid to even feed to our dog. So I did what the restaurant should have done which was thrown it out. May I suggest finding a manager and staff that actually knows their jobs and cuts of meat. Without the attitude. Won't be back...
