I inadvertently paid for an entire year of membership to this place. We visited one time, signed up, and then decided we didn't like it. I thought I had canceled. Turns out their cancellation form doesn't give you a receipt, or any kind of confirmation, so you can't prove it either way. Somehow I didn't notice they were charging my card for a year. They don't send out notices to let you know your payment is coming up, or receipts when they charge. They just sneak the money, and despite a clear record of never actually using the membership, except for that one first day, they stood by their policy and refused to help me out.
Edit: Response to the owner's response below,
The owner says they are "always looking for ways to improve our communication and customer experience," but their communication and customer experience are clearly predatory. You can't cancel over the phone, you have to fill out their form online. But the form does not send any confirmation. Without the confirmation, the customer can't prove cancelation.
They do not send notices or reminders when they charge the monthly subscription. Reviews on TrustPilot indicate that unintended payments for memberships are common with SkyZone, but nothing has ever been done to "improve communication and customer experience." SkyZone clearly prioritizes taking as much money as they can, regardless of customer intent.
When I talked to the owner about it, his response was, "If we gave you a refund, then we'd have to give a refund to everyone with this issue." Clearly this happens frequently, and their policy is to just be like, "well you agreed, and there's no record in our system of a cancelation..."
Seriously, they are as bad...
Read morePurchased a two hour jump for my son and after an hour my mom also decided to jump with him and purchased an hour for her. 40 minutes into her jumping time someone then decides to tell her my son had to jump on a certain side which was not told to us nor had anyone said anything previously when he was jumping alone. I’m pregnant so I ordered myself cheese fries which they said would take 15 minutes to make which actually took almost 30 minutes. Not only did it take twice as long but the girl cooking was too busy running around playing with the other female worker there leaving the front completely unattended. One of the other employees siblings I assume were also here while she was working. These kids were running back and forth from the trampolines to the kitchen. I witnessed these kids touching someone’s food thank goodness it wasn’t mine. All 3 of these kids are under 8 and not employed by this establishment so why are they in the kitchen?! Taking germs from the trampolines into the kitchen and onto peoples food. This is probably the most unprofessional place I’ve ever been to. There’s nothing wrong with employing young adults but at least make sure they adhere to rules ESPECIALLY...
Read moreTook 11 people there for my daughters birthday...the moment we walked in the service was bad. I personally called out all 11 peoples names and all had waivers done we got our stickers to jump noticed that 2 were missing had to pay again for the ones missing and they wouldn't reset our time to jump when it was there fault that two were missing. Then the staff was rude because I was jumping with my one year old and they told me he had to stay in the toddler section for safety which I get that but when I went over there with him and started to jump barely jumping they told me I couldn't be in there which makes no sense so what I was supposed to leave my 1 year old by himself in his area while I jumped in mine...they should have told me all of this before I paid for him and myself to jump when the girl asked me how old he was when I was paying. The manager was rude, the staff was rude...I spent 175 dollars there in one day you would think they be a little nicer. Manager said well what if he got hurt jumping with you instead of his area...I said well isnt that why we sign a waiver so if anyone gets hurt it isnt on you...jump at your own risk...
