Lennys Grill & Subs — Restaurant in Jackson

Not real fond of this location, tried it once over a year ago and said I wasn't going back, but we tried it again... They were cleaning up when we came in, even though the sign on the door said they were open for another hour and half. We placed our order and took a seat. That's when I noticed the look from the woman who was cleaning as I fixed my soft drink. While we were eating, another customer came in and ordered a cold cut sub... the woman had the same look as she sliced the meat on the machine she obviously just cleaned. I even saw her tossing the meat back in the cooler like she was ticked off. It almost seemed like they didn't want us in there! Even though it was a while before closing time. Either way, they want have to worry about us making a mess because we want be back. I'll search and find a "local owned" next time and forget...

I ordered an Italian sub and was aware it came with oil+vinegar+mayo. Sounded good to me. I came home (a drive that’s less than 2 minutes) and the wrapper was soggy and leaking juice all over. I attempted to eat this sloppy mess and it fell apart all over me. I assumed since I got it togo the sauces would be on the side and if not it wouldn’t be DRENCHED. It was entirely inedible as a sub. I could’ve wrung it out like a towel and filled a cup full of oil and vinegar If I wanted. I also got the French dip and while the sub was good, the au jus was basically warm soy sauce (I don’t know if this is normal for lennys). Anyway, I’m not thrilled and will order all sauce on the side if I should order from this...

Very RUDE owners...I tried to find a birthday coupon for a free sandwich, but they said I needed to download the app, so I asked if I could step out of line to do it so I could find it and a guy said sure, when I finally found it the lady was at the front and she started yelling at me that I been there two hours trying to find the coupon and I haven't ordered yet, so I told her that I would order and pay for it so she wouldn't think I was just trying to get something for free, but she kept being grudgingly about me ordering so I told her never mind ....it was horrible...I love their food but I will...
