Clifton Brothers BBQ — Restaurant in Jackson

We came here for lunch for the 2nd time within 3 weeks.The girl at the counter must have been shy or just unfriendly,we stood there waiting for her to say can i take your order or something but she just stood there looking so we finally walked up to her side of the counter and just started telling her what we wanted,she didnt give us all of our drink cups so we had to ask for the one we didnt get,we ordered the pulled pork plate and a chicken finger kids meal,the bbq has been very delicious in the past but this time a 1/4 of it was fat and very cold,no warmth at all ,not sure what was up with that,Also i was kinda surprised by the lack of bbq for the price,there was more sides than the ratio to bbq ,the fries were very warm and fresh,the potato salad was the best weve ever had! We ordered banana pudding after we ate our meal and it was very delicious also!! Overall food was great except cold bbq.Not sure if where they are keeping it isnt keeping it warm properly or what.We will try again but the coldness kinda knocked our excitement down about how good it was.Give it a try and see what ya...

I used to work right down the road at a factory. I'm a huge fan of BBQ and also a big BBQ cook. So I'm very picky. I saw Reggies was gone. It wasn't my favorite spot but was glad to see another BBQ spot to replace it. My accounts moved so haven't been in for a couple of months now. Was speaking to my partner about the food and was going to order soon. I thought I'd leave a review. First off. The food is good. Lot of smoke flavor. Good BBQ. Ive only had the pulled pork. First off. I thought it was expensive. I just looked again and idk if the prices were lowered but it doesn't seem bad in the current economy. The spicy green beans are really good. Some nice kick. Beans are pretty decent. I dash some extra sauce in them. I always get an extra sauce because it is good. Not like everyone else's. I would come inside to order to go. Kimberly would always take my order. She is great. The atmosphere is great. The food , that I have tried is great. Since I don't get to go in for lunch. Will be ordering to carry home...

Driving through Jackson, TN heading back home and wife and kids wanted BBQ. We pulled into Clifton Bros and man are we happy we tried this place out. The BBQ Nachos are top tier, the pulled pork on them were full of flavor and the portion could have fed the entire table. The ribs were amazing as well, perfectly tender and sauced. Even the potato salad was superior to many other I've had as well as the beans. Oh!! We cannot forget the chorizo queso that was perfect!! The staff were very friendly and food came out quickly. The lady at the register was so sweet and we found out she was from Texas too. Their was a gentleman that gave my two boys a chocolate chip cookie that was fresh and so good! I can't wait to return to try some of their other meats. This place deserves to...
