The owner needs to watch the cameras once in awhile while during my visit I think we arrived around 2:45am maybe 3am ish on 4/10/24 I was with my dad and his service dog. During my visit I seen one too maybe restaurant/food environment errors if you will. but the major ones I want to bring up is the fact the cook at one point in time put a waffle in the maker say down to eat her food burnt the waffle wasn't paying attention to anything put her phone while she was eating another customer came in the waitress too his order and finally when the cook decided to get up she licked her fingers then put gloves on and continue to take the burnt waffle off and make new ones. The fact she didn't think to wash her hands after eating or even after licking her fingers is disgusting. After all that was told the cook was in the bathroom after waiting for her to come back and seeing her touching things on her phone and making waffles with no gloves. this honestly was the first time I have ever been to a waffle house and I will never again return while my dad on the other hands loves waffles house but he as well says he will never return to this location....your business is lacking because the service that is being given...as far as rating your employees I'd give your waitress a 5 for friendlyness- as she was extremely nice, 2 for knowledge of her job - says shes been there since oct of 2023 but does know how to make coffee or even drop a waffle, smh. And your cook would get a 0 for friendlyness since she was extremely rude and 3 for knowledge of her job since she didn't know how to use proper hand washing .. I'm not sure of the spelling of the ladys names the cook had a hoodie over her head the whole time if that...
Read moreIt's a tradition for our family to eat Christmas breakfast at Waffle House. And before you go bashing me about the people who have to work there on Christmas, it is often times the most profitable day of the year in tips and many request to work. I shouldn't have to be cut off when placing my order, the waitress had to answer the phone while trying to finish with the rest of our orders. Didn't get our order right, when asked about the wrong order, the response was, "yeah, I probably got it wrong." Mind you there was no apology in her tone. Who knows what I paid for because she couldn't even tell the cashier what was on the ticket. My kids don't understand why I left a tip. But my oldest daughter works in food service, and it's just the right thing to do. Should have never gone to this establishment but stuck with the tried and true on Highland. The one on 85 Parkstone Place by the ballparks was such a disappointment. One thing to have bad food or get something wrong, but not...
Read moreI was in this waffle house last Saturday and a fight almost broke out, and a cook left because of it. I'm not sure how it started, other than the older cook talking crap, but manager is definitely in the wrong. She should have sent the other cook home, everyone there was having issues with him that night and the days leading up to this night from what Icould hear.I don't know if they have a zero tolerance policy, but if they do the cook that left instead of fighting.... did exactly what he should have because he was a supervisor on shift. If management can't understand that a toxic environment makes a poor work environment, then she shouldn't be management. All of her other employees on shift that night were even talking about finding new jobs because they couldn't stand the other cook, I think his name was Joe. He talked alot of big game, but everything I saw coming from his side of the grill was burnt, and he was very rude...
