What a great history with artifacts and stories I have never heard before being from West Tennessee. Would recommend stopping in staff is truly knowledgeable and welcoming hard to believe I have never experienced before. From Carl Perkins, BB King, Tina Turner, and connections with the Beatles, Eric Clapton, and Dolly Parton truly a memorable visit. Had no idea one of the first Hard Rock Cafe and first House of Blues was in Jackson and the influence on generations of music this area had.

Wow! What a treasure trove of local Jackson TN music history! The curator was extremely kind and informative, and the display of early rockabilly and other classic rock n country stuff was off the hook! The building is also an amazing place to visit. Incredible architecture. Go visit, if you like early rock n roll history, you won’t leave disappointed!

Visited today with our Easter Seals members, Roger was great, he told interesting stories, answered all questions he was very knowledgeable. Our members and staff enjoyed touring the museum and we all loved singing along with the gentleman before watching the short documentary. Thanks for making it a great visit!!!

The wife and I went today and it was amazing! As soon as you walk in, there is the most nicest lady you will ever meet to show you around and give you a lesson on one of the most historic attractions to Jackson that the older and newer generations can both appreciate! Bring your mom, dad, your mom's dad and the kiddos and sit back on the first part of the tour to an amazing video! Thank you again for such a great time! Also!! To those who haven't been yet, you get a little travel piece that for those who love history would...

Now this is a great museum. Music, stories, artifacts, more stories and all in classic former Carnegie Library. It's one of the beautiful turn of the century buildings which too often are now destroyed. Luckily this one has been kept up and now designed to house a wonderful History of Music and Musicians from west TN. The Staff is wonderful. Thanks for the...
