Bliss Hair Studio — Attraction in Jacksonville Beach

today i had one of the worst salon experiences in my life. a friend of mine had recommended that i see melisa because she really takes her time with the customer so a week ago i had set an appointment with melisa one of the styles there. the appointment was for today at 1:30. since it was my fist time seeing her i went 15 minutes early. i walked up to the front desk there was no one there to great me of help me so i just sat down got a magazine and waited because i figured everyone was busy they will be right with me. about 30 minutes later another lady walked in and she did the day as i did we waited 10 minutes and someone finely came out (a gentleman) but he came out to get her. did not ask me who i was there to see or anything just got her and left so i waited another 30 minutes. finally a younger woman came out and asked me who i was there to see when i told her i was waiting on melisa she informed me that she was not even there. at first i thought i heard wrong and asked her again where she was. she then responded that she was not there that she had called her to let her know that i was waiting. i waited over an hour no one once asked me who i was there to see till the very end or told me that the stylist that i was there to see that i had set an appointment with a week before was not even there!! honestly the worst salon...

I went to Bliss because I sort of know the owner and have heard positive things about him. I am a veteran avoider and have always pretended I was not aware my hair was a hot mess and really did not expect much since I figured there was little that could be done to fix my 'do'. I was beyond speechless when my hair nest was turned into an actual hair style. In fact directly after my appointment I had a dentist visit and almost every single girl in the office commented positively on the style, color and cut. Skeptics - banish those worries and fears - this stylist/owner is a true genius and actually LISTENS to you and is honest with your situation and hair. He knows the trends, what will flatter you and what will fit into your life. I only told him once that I was a bit 'lazy' when it came to my hair (don't like to have to spend 45 min to treat,dry,straighten, etc) on a daily and he not only dazzled me on my 'do' but also gave me something I could do myself and continue to receive compliments on. I am beyond thrilled and would recommend anyone to give him a try. I don't live anywhere near the beach, but I will keep going back, even if he moves his studio to Mars. He is...

Went to Corrine for about a year I think before I moved back home to GA and she is the best stylist I’ve ever had, nothing has come close since 😭 she highlighted my hair for the first time ever and it was the perfect amount of highlights with the perfect blend.
