went last Fri night..as we usually do. May 13th, 2016. Was told there was a 15-20 minute wait, so we said OK..and sat at the bar, each ordering a glass of wine. about 10 mins later, table was ready... we get seated, fill out the sushi menu and leave on end of table. 10,15.20 mins...not even a glass of water, menu never picked up, and my wife couldnt even get the attention of ANY staff member as the ran by. set the timer on my phone for 3 mins, and I said when this hits 0, we are leaving. sure enough...0 arrives, we get up, and as we are exiting, the hostess says " how was it"..I politley told her what happened, and she said, sit bacl down, we will take care of you. I kindly refused, and said we will go elsewhere...so Kamiya86, you lost at least 1 loyal customer. and I send about 25 clients a week into there...so now, I am going to recommend another place for sushi. Its too bad, we really like it there...but enough is enough...Kamita86, dobt believe me, look at the video you prob have...830 pm...last table on left before...

Kamiya 86 as a great place to get sushi with a lot of variety and the prices are great. The atmosphere as well is fantastic I can't even imagine how much they paid for this stuff but there're also special rooms where you can sit at this table where it's more like a traditional feel to it, you're lower to the table even though you're still sitting on a seat and the table isn't lower its the seat is in the ground. So it's almost like you're sitting on the floor which is really nice you have to take your shoes off to in these rooms but that this alone is a reason to come here least once though one thing that I didn't see or miss that wasn't at this place was Rahman and Don I'm my noodle enthusiastic he will and not having any Rahman were or in any rude on is kind of a downside for me still not a deal breaker but that's the only thing that I could see I was wrong that the portion sizes for some of the entrees are a little small but they're really good anyway in the plating for everything is really nice. We have really enjoyed our weekly (literally every pandemic week this year) to-go orders from here this past year. Unfortunately, the quality is slipping. On two recent occasions they failed to de-vein the shrimp in my sushi. I now have to request that the shrimp are de-veined (which is absurd). Tonight, the avocado was left out of the shrimp tempura roll. It was noticeable because I order that and the yummy roll every single time. I was already home and sitting down to eat dinner when I noticed. I called to see if there was something they could do. The manager said avocado wasn't called for on that roll....but the menu says that it is. I have ordered it for months. I know this roll inside and out. They refused to accommodate us in the future, comping an $8.50 roll because she insisted that it did in fact have avocado on it because she personally checked it before we took it. Obviously not.
