THESE MEMORIALS ARE THE GREATEST IN NORTH CAROLINA, INCLUDED ARE BEIRUT, MONTFORD POINT, 911 MEMORIAL BEAM FROM ONE OF THE TWIN TOWERS, THE LARGEST VIET NAM MEMORIAL, OUTSIDE OF WASHINGTON, DC. THE NAMES ARE IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER, THE LARGEST EGA EVER DISPLAYED, THERE IS A MEMORIAL WALL WITH ALL THE NAMES OF THOSE WHO WERE DISPLACED IN 1941 WHEN CAMP LEJEUNE WAS BUILT, AND THE DEDICATED SITE FOR THE MUSEUM OF THE MARINE AS WELL AS A MEMORIAL TO THE US NAVY CORPSMEN WHO GAVE THEIR ALL, PROTECTING AND SAVING THE LIVES OF OUR MARINES IN COMBAT AND PEACE TIME. COME VISIT THESE MEMORIALS AND YOUR LIVES WILL BE CHANGED FOR EVER AND YOU WILL GAIN A NEW RESPECT FOR AMERICA'S MILITARY FIGHTING MEN AND WOMEN, AS WELL AS THOSE SELFLESS FIRE FIGHERS IN THE 9-11 TERRORIST ATTACKS ON THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. MAY GOD BLESS AND KEEP THEM ALL SAFE FROM FURTHER HARM. THERE IS NO COST TO PAY YOUR RESPECTS TO ALL WHO GAVE ALL, SO YOU MAY LAVISH IN THE FREEDOM THEY GAVE ALL OF US. S.J. RYAN, US NAVY, CORPSMAN OF MARINES. AND DAMN PROUD OF IT. SEMPER FI,...

From WWII to the War in Iraq, this memorial site is a beautiful, quite, and peaceful place to learn, walk, pay tribute, and remember what it took, and what it takes to keep this country free. This is a very powerful and moving tribute to all of those that defended our colors with their lives, and a place where they can be appreciated and remembered for their service and contributions. From the thousands of names etched in glass walls around a tranquil water fountain, to the cut beam from the towers of the 9/11 attack, all ages and generations of warrior and civilian are welcome to come and walk amoungst these magnificent structures and statues. This memorial is full of benches, flowers, trees, wide side walks, shade, water, and information to read on the conflicts and names of those that perished from them. There is handicap access to the entire park. You are very likely to run into veterans amoungst the...

I was visiting my son while he was off for the weekend. My husband and I got a hotel near there and we went to look at it during the day and then at night it's beautiful it's a great memorial it's not something you would take young children to it's historical got great history. It has a great African-American tribute and history of that beautiful statues and displays and they're going to make it bigger with kind of a museum it's would be interesting then we took our son there and took some pictures because he's a Marine and they have a great EGA there in the water...

Beautifully done park. Wide sidewalk throughout. Also lighting along walkway so should be well lit at night. There is a 9/11 memorial, Vietnam memorial, Beirut memorial and Montford memorial. All are well done. The park is very peaceful and offers the perfect place to remember and honor those who have paid the highest price for our freedoms. The Vietnam memorial is exceptionally beautiful with names appearing on glass panels that surround the fountain in the center.
