This is a great area for kids. There's a splash pad, a great playground with covered seating that has a couple of grills you can use. In the center itself there's a basketball court, where Jacksonville parks and Rec hold all sorts of activities. Great little water activity spot. Honestly I've been there 4 or 5 times and it was not crowded at all. Good for kids ,and accompanying adults too,especially in the August heat.The fact that the splash pad is activated by a sensor in the middle is a great idea and the kids get a kick out of turning the water works on by themselves.There are tables with umbrellas, and an outdoor shower. , The 2 adjacent basketball courts are nice and are lit...
