Only regularly operating ferry in Florida so I'd say it's worth a ride! I always use it when driving Jacksonville-Amelia Island because it's a small time saver and I don't mind paying the extra few bucks to sit back and drift across the river as opposed to going up 95 the whole way.
Just a tip if you've never ridden a ferry; when you arrive, go to the first lane of the lot that isn't full of cars. Wait for the staff to wave you on. Cash/credit. Vouchers if ya got um. Runs every...

The worker didn't have patience for anyone not knowing what I was doing. This post is in November, but I went in July. But it was a cool experience. As I said, I went for the fun of it. It was a quick 10-minute ride, I think. But I guess I could just say the ferry was a normal ride. It sprinkled a little. We got outside the car a few minutes, it was nice. If you read this review, would you please give me a thumbs...
