Love this park. Its new, clean and maintained well. There is also a separate area for adults to workout. Very user friendly.
Edit 12/2020: This was a message I shared with a friend group.
Preface: Nothing happened, but the whole situation just felt off. The park seems somewhat secluded so be careful when you go. This happened close to sunset. Wanna say I'm not shaming anyone for the behavior. I have also seen mats and camping items in the woods here, so not sure if someone is living in there.
I was driving to the park with my two cute little humans and this lady swerved in behind me. I couldn't even see her in my mirrors because of how close she was following and to the right side of my car. I park. She parks. There was only one other woman there with her two humans.
This lady gets out of her car. Really tall, kinda built, brick house body builder type woman. She had a camoflauge backpack, she carried on one shoulder, with hiking boots and a hat. She walked through the park which was actually just a play ground surrounded by woods on three sides. As I got my people out of the car, I just watched her. Something seemed off. We get to the playground. I ask the other lady, "where did she go." She literally walked into the woods y'all.
So I see her pop up and step out of the woods. She was adjusting her pants and fixing her clothes. The other lady said she was going to the bathroom. I watched her walk to the other side of the park, into some more woods. My humans started playing with the other little humans, then it started to rain. So the other woman told her humans to get ready to go.
The hiker, body builder lady was still in the woods. So I told my humans we were leaving too. As we started to leave BB lady emerged from the woods again. Not sure if she left or went back into the woods to stay...
Read moreI recently visited the park designed for 2-5 yr olds, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations! The open concept design allows children to freely explore and play, fostering their imagination and creativity. The park is definitely a four-star destination for families seeking a delightful outdoor experience.
The swinging area is a definite highlight, providing endless joy for the little ones. The variety of swings available caters to different age groups, ensuring that every child finds their perfect fit. It's heartwarming to see the children's smiles and laughter as they soar through the air, enjoying the sheer thrill of swinging.
Another wonderful feature of this park is the small workout area for adults. It's a great addition that encourages parents and caregivers to stay active while their children play. The equipment is well-maintained and offers a nice range of exercises, making it easy to squeeze in a quick workout while keeping an eye on the little adventurers.
However, it's important to note that this park is surrounded by woods. While it adds a natural charm to the surroundings, it also means that parents and guardians should be extra vigilant. Keep a close eye on your kids at all times, especially when they wander close to the wooded areas. Safety should always be a priority, and being aware of the surroundings ensures a worry-free experience for everyone.
Overall, I highly recommend this park for families with young children. It provides a safe and engaging environment for kids to play, and the swinging area and workout equipment are fantastic additions. Just remember to stay vigilant and keep an eye out for your little ones, given the park's proximity to the woods. Enjoy a memorable day of fun, laughter, and outdoor adventures in this...
Read moreGreat place to take your kids. However, I did see a lady with a back pack walk back behind where the exercise station is. She appeared to take off her backpack and then squat down. The park was pretty full with families, so I was trying to keep an eye the best I could while also watching my children. All of a sudden I saw her walking away approx. 10 mins after she was in the wooded area. I couldn't get a view of what she was doing, and honestly I think i probably didn't want to see. Apart from that - the kids REALLY enjoyed the park. Ample parking, a little pond with ducks right next...
