I originally wrote a review so long that yelp told me it was too lengthy of a review to post. So I’m starting all over. It was funny, had some detailed key points but now I’ll keep it basic and short(er). Another establishment that I tried three times, and decided it’s not for me. All the social media, all the reviews. I don’t get it. The bowls are too expensive for the quality you get in return and this has been the case since they opened the brick and mortar. I could go to Publix next door, grab better quality ingredients, and make a spicy stir fry myself for about the same price since groceries are so expensive too these days, plus get more meals out of it than one. If I had time that night to do that, I would have. Unbeknownst to me, my third visit was on deep cleaning night. That was fun. The sweet sweet sounds of metal on metal scraping a grill the entire 30 mins I was there. No music, no sound from the tv’s, just the ambiance of chef back there taking out the weeks frustration on a metal grill while customers were not only present, but eating. Customer service 101, side work is for times when customers aren’t present. The food photos look pretty. Prettier than they taste. The restaurant needs much tlc. When I first sat down. A rolling bus cart with dirty dishes in it was right in the middle of the dining room. Were they busy with customers in the dining room? No. My party of two, and one other that dined in, that’s it. I actually walked in to the person behind the host stand apologizing to all of the Uber eats, door dash people for having to wait so long for their food. I’ve had their boba tea, their cheese dogs they added some time after they opened. If you want good boba tea, go to a place that specializes in it; same with the cheese dogs. The Korean food truck off beach Blvd has phenomenal cheese dogs (that you can order meatless too) the ramen dog I tried here wasn’t bad but I would wait and order at another place where I can grab a meatless one that has more flavor on the outside. Okay, well, I could go on but instead I’ll just include the pics. The clear soup was good! It’s boring to look at in a picture but that was the best thing I tried.

Update to my previous review: Went here for the second time and was a bit disappointed in the food as it wasn’t nearly as good the second time around. The corn dog was definitely thicker and had so much batter around it that it was more soft instead of crispy. The beef bipimbap bowl was completely lacking in flavor and the sauce didn’t help much. The kalbi bop bowl was just ok as well, everything seemed a little expensive for the quality as well. It might be a while before we come back again. Hopefully the corn dogs will be better at least This place is great if you are looking for a unique type of fast food. We finally got to try the corn dogs this time after a few visits where they were unfortunately out. They were definitely worth it though! The corn dogs were crispy, had plenty of sauce and are definitely enough to fill you up. We tried the sweet gochujang style and loved the flavor combo! Most of the corn dog is cheese, with a small dog at the bottom end. That was better for me as I preferred the cheese, but if you are expecting more meat, you might be disappointed. The other appetizers were pretty good as well. The Mandu was nice and crispy, and the bulgogi kimchi fries actually were decent too. We also ordered Thai tea to drink, which was great, but I was disappointed with how little boba was actually put in the drink and the high quantity of ice. Will definitely come here again for the corn dogs!
