Baladna Jewelry — Attraction in Jefferson Township

I'll say it simply to start - Baladna is absolutely excellent for all of your jewelry needs (especially custom engagement rings).

The perfect opportunity to propose to my fiancé came with fairly little notice, as we strung together some last minute travel to one of our bucket list vacation spots. With the idea of proposing during the travel in mind, I knew I had to act quickly to get this done in the relatively short time available. I wanted to stick with a local, reputable business, so Baladna stuck out naturally as the preliminary leading choice after a bit of searching.

I had never shopped for jewelry to this extent before, and had only recently started looking at ring designs before going to the store. Once inside Baladna, I instantly felt a family-style welcome that is never present in larger jewelry stores. Maurice, his wife, and son (Sam) all greeted me within a few seconds and assured me they would be with me after finishing with previous customers. While doing some initial browsing, Maurice and Sam eventually approached me and asked how they could assist. I explained my parameters in regard to design, customization, and price, along with the limited window of time I had. Let me tell you, these guys made me feel like family right away, jumping on the phone with suppliers at a moments notice just as speculation to see if the options I were considering would even be available within the timeframe.

Eventually, after about 3 or 4 visits in store, and several phone calls keeping me advised every step of the way, Sam was able to secure the stone, setting, appraisal, and custom inscription before I left for travel. Needless to say, the ring was astonishing! My fiancé still looks at in awe everyday, and has people comment everywhere she goes on "THAT ROCK!"

I was worried I was rushing the process or missing steps along the way, but with Baladna, the expertise was shown and I was reassured every step of the way. From consulting on the best/most practical setting for the size of stone, to personal suggestions on cut/color, not a beat was missed.

I plan on going to Baladna for my own personal jewelry needs in the future (no more engagement rings! lol), and can't wait to continue business with them in the future. I do not wear jewelry often actually almost never but I have been wanting bangles for years and my husband flew out to Chicago to buy me some. His family had been going here for years and I have some gold from here that his family bought us. David went and sent me photos of a few he selected and Hanan helped him. I was hoping to get 3 bangles. He chose the most beautiful set and bought me 6 instead. Can you imagine my surprise when I saw them in person???!! I about cried tears of joy at the beauty of them and could not believe he actually selected them!! I tried them on but they were much too large for me. We were so sad. I called them on Monday and spoke to Morice and wow how wonderful he was. I am hoping they can find me the same set in a smaller size. I have been communicating with Hanan via text and having my fingers crossed they can get me the same set. Anyway, my husband will be out to Chicago in or after January when he has vacation time from work to do an exchange. He already said that he wants to get me more!! I wish I could go with him :-(

This place is the best!! I went in on a busy morning with an engagement ring I needed resized. They were super nice and honest about the process as I needed it more than 2 sizes smaller. They gave me full explanations of what it would entail and some options and quoted me with an extremely good price. A couple days later I got word from the store I purchased it from that they would make me a new ring at the right size. I reached out to Balanda Jewelry on a Sunday (a day they were closed) and left a message telling them the situation and offered to pay a service fee for their time and they called me back that same day to tell me it was no problem and that I could pick up the ring on Monday at no charge!! Like I said this place is the best!! If she says yes, I plan on buying my wedding band from Balanda based on principle alone! Because paying it forward is the name of the game! I highly recommend this...
