I have been there several times and they were closed. Phone first to be sure they are open. antastic center. Opens closer to 10 AM NOT 9AM. Great friendly people in charge and that attend events here. When they have food it's terrific. Take Brown line to Kimball which is the end of the line. Walk one block North to Ainslie. Center is on SW corner. Albany bank is on corner of Lawrence and Kimball. Thift store one block east of Brown line on Lawrence. Popeye's chicken. Donuts . 24 hour diner. Lotto tickets. Everything close by.

We're so lucky to live so close to AIC. Very grateful for everyone that works here. They are so nice and welcoming. Our family likes to go to their various events such as Powwows, art shows, & other educational teachings. Thank you AIC for being a BIG part of Albany Park and providing a safe space for our community to connect/learn.

I was fortunate to attend the 71st annual Pow Wow here and it was so cool! I really appreciate the opportunity to see and support, especially when there’s food too! The Indian tacos were so good the fry bread was great too! There were vendors with cool jewelry and other items for sale as well. Great space I encourage all to support!

My boyfriend and I tried to get involved going to different events and showing gratitude going to beading classes every week only to really ever get the cold shoulder, wanting to learn more about Native Cultures coming from a different nation myself to only hear two personal stories from the Director over and over again word for word like reading from a book, races and very closed minded catered only to white people and had no interest in other different Native nations its like there more for show and the nonprofit money coming in…. It was a very uncomfortable situation when I asked Ronnie what he thought about “Emily Pike” he just looked at me like he didn’t even know what I was talking about and the way he answered had no compassion for the situation They can put on a good show dress up and dance around however stuck in there own materialistic nose up in the air personalities and greed I tried more then once to give them the benefit of a doubt only to be sadly...

I came to this location for the first time with the intent to help by reading one of my favorite childhood books to the young children in attendance of an event . In my opinion their families are being charged too much money $25 for a storytelling event.i was greeted coldly and impersonably, and my offer of volunteering and gift was rejected more than once within 1 conversation. I suspect the truth was withheld from me. I will never return here. I am disappointed to a high degree. It was an older woman with really bad in...
