Retro Dimension has become my go-to store for video games. Every time I step inside, I'm blown away by the incredible collection they have curated over the years. Being a part of the local community, I can see the strong presence of gamers of all ages flocking to the store, which speaks volumes about its popularity. Not only is the store well-maintained and interactive, but the customer service is truly outstanding. The owner goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience for every visitor.
Recently, I found myself in a situation where I had to part ways with my beloved video game collection. I approached the owner with hopes of striking a fair deal, and I was not disappointed. While it's important to have realistic expectations when selling items to businesses, the owner handled the transaction with utmost professionalism, patience, and transparency. They took the time to address my concerns and provided valuable insights, setting themselves apart from other locally owned video game stores I've encountered.
During the process, a mix-up occurred, and I accidentally included my wife's cherished DSi in the items I sold. When I realized the mistake, I immediately informed the owner, fearing the worst. However, their response was nothing short of remarkable. Without hesitation, they understood the sentimental value attached to the DSi and promptly returned it to me, putting my worries to rest. This level of customer service is rare to find in today's world, and it left a lasting impression on me.
I am genuinely grateful for the exceptional care and service I received at Retro Dimension. It's reassuring to know that there are still businesses that prioritize customer satisfaction above all else. I look forward to continuing my relationship with Retro Dimension and supporting their passion for video games...

Read moreI have held off as long as I could writing this review. It's frustrating that this store is in my neighborhood and pass it every day. I have delt with Pedro before he opened this store and he definitely knows his stuff but has always been high on pricing. I know the retort to high pricing is always "every game is tested, cleaned and we have to pay rent and ensure every game works" but charging $20+ eBay or Pricecharting is absurd. I understand that he has a great collection in there and that most games are mint condition which demands higher prices but giving 35% trade in on the same condition and valuable stuff is a slap in the face. The store feels more like a museum. If you are going to charge premium prices for your games, at least give 50-60% trade in on good stuff that people are going to spend in your store. The Instagram posts calling out customers for honest and maybe not so honest reviews is not necessary either. If you deal with customers respectfully and they have an issue with that, you don't have to post an entire story about it. It comes off as petty and sad. Good luck selling that inventory that has been in your store since you have opened and I feel bad for the people paying the highest premium for the rare items in your collection. Go to one convention in the area and you'll have a much better experience with any of the local vendors there that are not Retro Dimension or Timeless...
