I get dinner here almost every Friday, or I did until yesterday. They changed their menu in the last week (and have not updated the written menu that you order off of at the location) Chips were burned, guac barely had any avocado, ordered a 3 taco Friday dinner special and only got 2 tacos and they said drinks are no longer included either. If this is your weekly go to place for dinner specials you better double check because this is not the same place you went to last week. The guy behind the counter was incredibly rude, I’m assuming management changed because I’ve never had this poor of service in the 5 years I’ve been going here. We love this place. My son is extremely picky. But he love the steak nachos. But he has to have it made in a certain way. They never fail to make it exactly the way he likes it. We all have our favorites. But there’s lots of things on the menu we love. I have a sensitive stomach and there’s only one thing I can manage to eat and that’s the beans and rice. My husband and daughter love really spicy food. Los Azares give them what they crave. The rest of us prefer our food less hot. They have something for all of us. So I have been living in Niles for about 8 years now and have not been able to find a good Mexican Restaurant with good carne asada. Today I decided to stop here with my son and I was honest with the owner and stated I have never been there he was attentive and stated try it and give me your honest opinion. I’m Puerto Rican so flavor to me has to be there I have to say I have been snoozing big time.
