My natural nails are NOT perfect by any means - after years of nail biting and acrylic nails - so I have been doing gel from the start of this year. I came in due to high google review rating but I’m honestly appalled- I am an extremely easy going nail client and barley disagree with what the tech has to say/ do since they are the expert but I was SHOCKED when she said $40– please just look at the photos. The lady was a bit rude, and when it came time to tip I crossed a 0 on the receipt and she looks at me and asks so are you tipping in cash?
I was so shocked and appalled - never in the service industry was I ASKED to tip- to get a tip you have to provide an excellent service- you dont just GET and at $40 for a half a**ed job? Please. Should have never left my usual salon naild it right up the road- it hasn’t even been 24 hours and they are scratched and peeling off the sides - they were painted so far off they already look outgrown
I even stopped her at first finger and asked if the color is okay as some give issues- I understand my nails have ridges but this is just wild to leave the sides the way they were done after painted (I asked to leave length as long as possible even if uneven so please don’t look at that)
The work looks done by a 5th grader.
Will never be back here again. Salon has very limited colors and uninviting- but most off due to techs comments. I would have no problem if service matched work or was superior then any other salon but beating my hand 3 times for a “massage” is not it
Declined shoulders as wanted to...
Read moreCame here because of great Google reviews. Guy with the hat was rude, appeared annoyed I was the first client of the day and he had to work. I asked for a pedi and no chip mani. He started with pedi and did a very rough massage. Barely exfoliated my feet (most places use those cheese grater type foot files - he just used a rough sponge). Did a sloppy job with the polish.
My no chip mani was a bit better but not much. Barely used any lotion to "massage" me (which was basically slapping my arm around like a wet noodle) so I felt the friction of his latex glove. No cuticle oil either at the end of service.
Also the no-chip colors are not swatched on those plastic cards of nail shapes like many other salons have. Due to the formula the no chip colors are in opaque bottles so the color of the bottle and color of the polish don't always resemble the best match.
Also no shoulder massage like many reviews mention.
$75 for both services plus a tip and I won't be going back. Given 1 star because the place was very clean.
Photos show my mani and pedi when I got home. I know my toes and nails are little stubs because I'm a picker but this looks like a 5 yr old did it. You can also see how my feet were...
