An ad for Miso’s popped up on my facebook feed one night, I went to their website to check it out and ended up going to visit the very next day.

I want to get into D&D terrain building and they have an AMAZING collection of supplies. It COULD have been overwhelming a little if not for how super helpful the staff was! I was greeted the moment I walked in and asked if there was anything specific I was looking for. (I wish I could remember his name šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø) He was extremely knowledgeable on what I wanted to know and he walked me around showing me all of the different things they had to offer, answering all of my questions and giving some great advice and honest opinions on what they had to offer or even alternatives for the FEW things they didn’t sell.

I ended up getting a couple of D&D books that I had been wanting for a while, and a couple sets of really cool dice! I then went downstairs to check out the rest of the store and saw at least 4 different groups of people all playing different games! The energy was amazing!

I received another friendly greeting from the staff downstairs and was again asked if I needed help finding anything, but at this point I was just browsing. However I may have got ANOTHER set of really cool dice šŸ˜…

The one and only downside….. I didn’t get to meet Miso that day 🤣 but it was a Sunday and even little pups need a day off! 🤣 Hopefully I’ll get to run into Miso next time! I will definitely be...

Learned about this store at a small convention in Louisville. Miso's is a very unique FLGS with friendly staff! Though the store is a little cramped, it is very well organized with plenty of tables for playing games. Though I didn't have time to sit and play, I'd love to come back during one of their game nights.

They have a large collection of unique figures organized by theme and many shevles full of funko pop. What interested me the most was their collection of wargame minis. While most FLGSs have a large stock of a few select games, Miso's had a nice variety of different tabletop wargames to choose from with starter boxes for most of them. This is excellent if you are looking to branch out into a different strategic tabletop wargame.

Additionally, they had a section of what looked to be pre-owned or open box games which was alot of fun to look through. My husband pointed out that they had some old AD&D and 2nd addition D&D materials which I thought was really cool to see in a local store.

I have seen many FLGSs through my travels, many of which tend to feel like cookie-cutter copies of others. Miso's sets itself apart from some of the other Louisville FLGSs I have been to with its unique arrangement and stock, it's friendly staff, and it's good prices. I will definitely...

This is easily the best store in the city for collectibles, toys, games, and more. The environment is so welcoming, you can tell that you are among fellow enthusiasts when you're there (regardless of what you are into). There is something for everyone here! The store is full of a wide range of genres - everything from super heroes to horror. Don't forget to check out both the upper and lower level shops, too! On top of the variety of goodies on the lower level, the upper level is stocked with an impressive selection of Warhammer and other tabletop games as well as the best paints and hobby tools on the market. BUT WAIT THERE IS MORE! Not only can you get whatever you need for your tabletop gaming - there are also plenty of full size gaming tables with a massive selection of terrain for you to use... FREE OF CHARGE. The staff is always approachable and do a great job of answering any questions you might have, helping you find what you need, giving you pointers, or just talking about the things you love with you! This isn't another cold, empty space sprinkled with some things to sell you - it's packed full with the things you love and you can feel the passion that...

For me, the most interesting game shops are ones that are in a weird spot. This one is in the basement. Basically a strip mall there’s places to play games like DND type sessions they have arcade cabinets and there’s wall-to-wall games, action figures, and collectibles. If you can’t find it ask, they say they can order it, I found a really good deal and when I say really good. I mean it’s half off of what I’ve been seeing it for online for memorabilia that I’ve been looking for since I was seven. They asked me how I found out about them. I saw a random ad I’d never heard about them and they’ve been open for a year. I lost my gaming spot a year ago so it was really refreshing on a cold night to find a friendly face willing to give you a deal, I told the owner this already, but I’ll be back with friends.

Updating my review was going through some rough family things at the hospital nearby this place and went out of my way to treat myself to something geeky and for me expensive and really wanted to learn how to play ….. While I didn’t get what I paid for and Wizard hasn’t responded to an email yet…I feel bad for leaving such a negative review before this place is great the people who work here are great Has a great community who hangs there And some really cool things for to buy or just browse Once again my bad for the negative review I hope this place sees nothing but success we need more places like this around

I have been a regular at the Louisville Game Shop for several years. With the recent announcement of their impending closure, my gaming meta reached out to several local stores to see about finding a new main gaming space. Misos entire staff were welcoming, enthusiastic, and understanding when we spoke to them. As well, they have an excellent selection of paints and hobby supplies, including technical special effects supplies I haven't seen carried anywhere else. I'm very much looking forward to spending much more time there in the future!
