This review is more directed towards Spectrum as a company. This is the worst internet service I’ve ever had. If they didn’t have a monopoly over the area I would switch. We lose internet for a few hours multiple times a month. I pay $80 a month just for internet. If you have the options stay away. Judging from the other comments the store isn’t any better. Good luck Update. now the bill has gone up to 106.99 for just internet. Called and cancelled service April 10th. Was told that they don’t prorate and I’d still have service will the 25th. Told them I didn’t care that I wanted to cancel as of that day. They said ok and I sent the equipment back on the 10th. Normal bill came out on April 14th like normal. Made sense being that close to closing the account. Then the fun begins. Got an email about my upcoming bill in may. Called them and was told that I didn’t cancel my account and that I had told them that I was gonna wait and call back on the 24th which was the end of the bill cycle to cancel. Told them why would I do that and send the equipment back before I was cancelled. They agreed and said they would close the account and cancel the May bill that was set up on auto pay. Well the bill comes out on May 14th so I called. My account was still active. So the 3rd time I called to cancel/close my account I finally get an email and text say that I have an open claim for a charge back. Couple hours later got a text saying claim closed. Opened the app and finally my account says closed. Wait a week still no refund for the May payment. Call again and find out that they applied the 106.99 credit to the closed account. Read moreMy father and I have went into this store two times now and I have yet been able to order a new phone. Noone in that store has been helpful except one man that was able to transfer some information for us. We were in there today and there were about 5 other people in the store and we ALL signed in to be on their 'waiting list' from their kiosk, except this very rude woman that thought her time was more important than everyone else's. My father and I were next in the queue and the woman walked straight up to the associate and told him it was her turn because she was there first. When I said we were next in line to the associate, he ignored me and still called her up. I said something again, and he told me to "just breathe". What's the point of having a waiting queue protocol in place when you're not going to follow it. When I asked for the associates name, he rolled his eyes and me and laughed and said "Caleb". His associate said his name to another customer before us, which was "Shane". Not sure why he lied about his name to me, but I know that's not how you treat paying customers. When we called Spectrum, we were told they can't do anything about it because there's no direct lines to the store and that we'd have to go in and talk to a manager. Read moreMy experience at the Spectrum Store in Jeffersonville was great. I'm new to Spectrum Mobile and went to the store for help setting up my phone. Kevin helped us out and very quickly had everything changed over. His professionalism and knowledge of the equipment and services made the transfer very easy for us. On top of that he is a super nice person to deal with. Everything you could expect from a service provider. Thanks so much!

Two months later and everything with Spectrum Mobile has changed. The verbal agreement I had with Spectrum at the point of sale has not been honored. I was promised a trade in amount as a promotion for my old phone. The trade in went to a third party (Assurant), who changed the trade value. Spectrum has me locked into a monthly promotion discount with a term of three years. Unless I stay with Spectrum I will have the residual of the full amount for the device. I have reviewed the documents and do not find where this is explained. I feel this is deceptive practice and is unacceptable. According to their customer service supervisor Eric, it's up to the consumer to find these deceptive practices and it's perfectly acceptable for Spectrum to solicit business this way.
