I find culvers is surprisingly good as far as food selection, flavour, and even value. They're also unlike many of the modern fast food restaurants these days, because they definitely have a grand display of staff- more than enough Employees to help make your weight minimal- so-even when you see a ginormously long line of starving fellow patrons you won't have to wonder if you can go ahead and meander thru the menu or if ur time is gonna be stretched so far past thin youll likely find yourself quietly hoping that a significant portion of the rest of the line in front of you decides to abort their effort-brimmed attempts almost simultaneously. So that shouldn't be any reason for ppl to have a less than satisfactory time. That said HOWEVER There is one thing folks should consider before going late in the day… they usually close 10:00 p.m. (Im guessing every day) , but do not get their at 9:30 p.m. or after Because even with 48 employees working The drivethru-they still may very well decide to shut the lights and menu off instead of taking ur order... it's just a simple case of fite or filters really, tho at that moment nothing seems very simple especially when u just called 5 -10 minutes earlier to confirm they would be open. Well, actually we didn't leave without absolutely anything... In fact, on a cool rainy nite, nothing fairs as well as a nice hot ride back home, fired by a couple of free obscenities from a Culver employee that was too humble to share her name with us at the menu out back. *NO...
Read moreBetter than Red Robin and less expensive. A good place for everyone, whether quick bit, lunch or dinner with the kids. Snack pack dressed cheeseburger with fries and drink is a good deal. Burgers fresh and never disappoint. Custard is great too. Service and employees are always on point. update: pretty good burger, for dine in, once ordered it took longer to get it.
update. weekday lunch rush. March 2025. I waited at the counter for a good five minutes before someone looked up, took my order and payment. It was unusually chaotic. She said Due to part of the grill broken there would be about 15 minute wait for my order. Dining room was full and everyone was eating or waiting. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN professional if the actual manager came out and helped with the operations and customer service. food quality was...
Read moreThe current situation, with the dining room closed, was not too much of a problem as they have outside seating and curbside pickup. If the weather is nice, and it was for is, then you can still park and enjoy socially distanced dining. There are a few problems with this arrangement, however. There is no accessible restroom to wash up prior to eating. We brought hand sanitizer, so not perfect, but do-able. There are two gas station bathrooms within walking distance, which may be close enough for normal situations. If the weather turns, it could end up windy and challenging for your food to stay put while you eat. Other than that, everything was positive. The delivery person, the people inside the store... Everyone employed by Culver's were wearing masks, but you could see the smiles in their eyes, and the friendliness came right through. The line in the drive through was ever present sometimes backing up for long lengths, but was constantly moving. The food was really good. I tried their chili for the first time. It was delicious. Their onion rings were perfectly done battered and with enough grease to give it that delicious flavor without leaving you with grease fingers. The cod was delicious. The breading was perfect. I wouldn't want to get it on a bun as it might throw off that balance. With just a little lemon, it stood well on it's own. I really enjoyed sitting outside with my wife enjoying good food, and the ability to be together outside. ...
