Five Guys — Restaurant in Jeffersonville

Food is always great and professional! Delicious comfort food! At a decent but not great price! I stop by there 10-30 times a year. And if there is no peanut allergy, then yummy fries! And the Cajun seasoned fries are fire!

(Atmosphere note from one with service industry experience... when there are 3-4 ppl waiting on orders and 3-5 ppl in line and another few trying to tell you they have online pickups... that's how the place looked when I got to the clarksville indiana location to let them know i was picking up my online order... maybe don't have a couple of employees, both male, walk out from the back of the kitchen areas or prep areas with a scowl on both their faces! [There were only like 2-3 employees working on the floor when I got there and for about 5-7 min after before the other two came from the back with attitudes and potentially dirty hands?] And they were the wrong side of terse when I asked one of them to wash their hands before they started bagging up food after coming from the back???)

I don't want to be fussy and Karen like and get annoying government involved over people's attitudes and behaviors. I just want you to coach your ppl to better and more quality service when necessary! Foods always great! This is the first not near perfect review I've given you guys... all 5 of ya!

Might be a sign of the times and the world and how little ppl care about being better than we were the day before and American excellence? Dunno. But I just like to help where I can and "leave things better than I found them!"

good service, good food, 90 degrees temp outside and like 55 degrees in here, too cold to enjoy my dining experience, my fries got cold too quick, music was too loud although i heard songs i like, quality of hamburger way better than competition across the street. i want to come back but will dress for winter and not order the fries. bummer because they are freshly made. i saw workers preparing food, training and cleaning. milkshake good too. music is loud like a bar, where is the alcoholic beverages? next door at taco place.

update: went for leisure weekday lunch. cashier/ order taker was very pleasant! food prepared to order. music still on. quality of little hamburger was excellent!

cons: i lowered down from four stars to three stars! remains cold temperature inside of restaurant, which is bothersome, neither of the 2 fountain soda machines are not producing adequate quality drink. coke flat in both machines and all almost taste like dr pepper. lime coke from both machines tasted like it had gatorade flavor mixed in them. flavor drinks from these computerized soda fountain machines are not good this visit! ordered small fries and even though fresh potatoes, they were fried too long! and they got cold 1/4 way through eating them. cold fries are not good! why did they get cold so fast,because it was cold inside the restaurant!

staff looked clean and pleasant, saw them working good as a team and they were efficient and productive, restaurant looked clean and satisfactory although liquid or water draining across floor from the soda fountain machines.

Order today for lunch before 1 pm on line, picked up my order that had the burger in it waiting In brown paper bag on top shelf! I walked in waited 5 minutes before asking an employee is that my order? He said yes it’s yours and walked off!! Omg!! Really!! I guess he could bother to tell me my order was waiting on fries!!! Finally after waiting another 7 minutes a women came out and said can I help you? I explained I did not want to pay $12 for a cold burger that’s been sitting there for I don’t know how long before I made it up to the store to purchase it, then I told her that the employee never told me that I was waiting on fries he just walked away!! She explained to me that they were waiting on fries and that my burger was not cold they did not want to remake it and PI should’ve requested my money back because she lied my burger was very cold running mayonnaise warm lettuce tomatoes . the fries were so salty I threw them in the garbage!! I’ll stick to the five guys in Louisville at least they are 10 times better than this place never to return oh and by the way the manager I believe it’s the woman...
