They have open cubbies for your keys, shoes, and other belongings. My oil-brushed Birkenstock got switched with someone after a class a month ago. I noticed it immediately, reported it to the instructor, and gave the sandals to Lori, the studio owner the next day, hoping she could give them to the sandals' owner when she brought mine back. After 2 weeks, when I asked for any updates, Lori told me the other person showed up with mine and they could not find her sandals. So the other person took mine back as a hostage. It was obviously their fault, for not keeping them in a safe place. After that, Lori was not responsive to my emails asking for updates. I went to see the instructor every week and asked if she knew of any updates. The instructor was very empathetic with my situation and tried to help me but Lori was defensive saying the other person was out of town and would come to the studio after that. She made me feel as if I was bothering her. After a month, my sandals were still lost and I did not get any updates from her. Then Lori sent me a picture of very old and broken sandals and asked if they were mine. They were not mine and Lori could not answer for who received them or if they were really from the other person. She even said she contacted the other person again and the other person would stop by the studio the following weekend. She also said, that the other person showed up when she contacted the other person for the first time which was a month ago, took hers, and left those old sandals. But the old sandals were not there until after 3 weeks. What she was saying did not make sense at all. When I told her what she was saying didn't make sense, she said she had a communication problem with me. what a pity on her! She had nothing but excuses for her nonsense and wanted to blame my English ability. I was educated here in the States and am a proud Korean-American. It was very obvious that she was just trying to get around and not being honest with me. Of course, the other person did not show up the following weekend. Why would she come if she took hers already? I lost my sandals. All I could do was to cancel my unlimited membership and not to deal with this anymore. I'm sharing my honest review here. It was such an unpleasant experience with the disrespectful, unkind, apathetic and...
Read moreI have been a member of Lift Yoga for 3 years. I started off at the Alpharetta studio. One of the best things about Lift is that your membership/class package can be used at any of their 3 studios. When the Johns Creek location opened I started taking classes there too since I live between the Alpharetta and Johns Creek studios. I have also attended at the Dunwoody location (a further drive for me) when a favorite teacher/interesting class is taking place. All 3 studios have amazing instructors and a wide variety of classes to suit any level yogi. The staff is universally welcoming and friendly. I never leave a class without feeling better than when I walked in. I highly recommend all 3 studios. The new student special of 2 weeks unlimited for $20 is an amazing way to experience all that Lift...
