Noisiest library I’ve ever been in. The staff is mostly LGBTQ that pushes their beliefs in this library plus they are actually louder than the people that are in there. They don’t enforce the cellphone policy so you hear people’s phones ringing. There’s a patio outside to sit on that’s actually quieter than then inside. In fact you can walk up to Central Park and hear less people talking. This library is basically like a meeting place. I changed floors and thought maybe another one would have less noise but it doesn’t happen and the staff could care less. There just basically there to get paid with minimum effort on doing anything. If you’re lookin for quiet just stand in front of the building and...
Read moreWent to the library on Wednesday & did some obit genealogy look ups on micro-film. Which I haven't used the machine in year's. There was a wonderful woman who assisted me & took time out of her own scheduled break to be sure we got the info for my daughter who's starting her father's side genealogy. I could not have had kinder people help me w/what I needed to do. Another employee helped me on the computer & I was also helped by other visitor's. Also, the area where they sell the used books is very affordable & the ladie's were so kind. They directed me to the exact area of what I needed. I spent a wonderful afternoon & I have 2 to back this week to do more look-ups. Thank you all at the library for your time &...

The lady didn't tell me up front and allowed me to found out the hard way! Of course I was pissed once I came back to her and could've put her on the spot about...
