The woman at the front counter is rude and acts as though she’s doing you a favor by selling you items. I really want to love this place based on all of the positive reviews, but it’s difficult when I have tried to place orders for cakes on 2 separate occasions only to be told that they’re booked. The website states that a one week notice be given to order a cake but both times I’ve attempted to order I’ve called 3-4 weeks in advance. Maybe it’s just me but shouldn’t more details be asked about an order before outright denying it? All I asked was to place an order and give the date but the woman at the counter immediately says that they’re booked. I know I’m not the only person who has experienced this. It’s unfortunate for the owner, who seems to be very passionate about his business, to lose customers due to this ongoing issue. I understand this happening occasionally but what are the odds it’s happened to me twice and to friends and family of mine on multiple occasions? Seriously how far in advance do you need to call to order from this place?
