I love coming to Lee Street Park for the live outdoor music concerts that are held. The only negative that I have is the maintenance & upkeep of the amphitheater area. The last couple of times I have been, they have failed to maintain the grounds. PLEASE cut the grass, trim the bushes along the perimeter and spray the area for bugs, mosquitoes and fire ants. There were huge fire ant piles along the outskirts/curbs. A lady close to me stepped in one not knowing it & was bitten up pretty bad. The grass should have been properly cut way before the event occurred. I do appreciate the staff they have going around the facility to pick up trash, but more containers need to be made available especially since attendees are allowed to bring their own food & drinks. Overall, I love the park & city of Jonesboro for providing a place to come out for entertainment.

Surprised to have found such a quiet gem in JONESBORO. I was shocked. Friends went to the 4th July once. My issue is: the area with the picnic area is filthy! Garbage everywhere, flies, kids (their adult guardians, parents) just leave all their food, snacks, drinks just left there. Why not leave them in wastebasket?! The bathroom must be kept CLEAN! Have we all forgotten about Covid, pandemic?! Please pay others to keep it cleaned. That gem won't stay a gem if people don't take pride...clean it up. You wonder why people don't want to be in Jonesboro. Please, let's change that.

My first visit on Saturday, October 8, 2022 for an outdoor concert was very lack luster. The line to enter was extremely long and no one know which was for VIP. I was charged for VIP parking that did not exist. There was construction of the new city hall and that parking lot was off limits. They were threatening to tow vehicles from that parking lot. Luckily, we were warned by the officer patrolling the area. We had VIP seats, but guest with VIP were allowed to enter before the VIP attendees. Guests that did not pay for VIP were asked to move from the VIP area. Unfortunately, it was unorganized and they lacked the staff to accommodate the crowd. The food trucks ran out of food. One food truck vendor told people who were waiting that it would be twenty minutes for fries. Please take time to properly prepare for an event of this magnitude next time in order for your guests to have a...

One of the nicest parks to visit. Live music and concerts with food trucks and other events on the weekends. Not every weekend. Check scheduling. Oh, I guess I should've lead with free concert!!! BYO lawn chair/seating. Lovely small market with some really great vendors on Saturday morning. Only downside is construction at one end of the park, the red clay from the site is fading into the park causing mudd pile ups. Easily one one of nicest parks I've seen. Really nice size. Large playground area for the kiddos. Full sized bball courts just across the street from the park. Nice gazebo with canopy, although I'm surprised more people don't use it to grill, there's a grill there...
