You may or may not have considered shopping at a pawn store, but if you’ve been hunting for a nice bit of hardware for your significant other, this is the place. I love big, chunky gold pieces and I’m always on the hunt for something pretty but unique. That’s a tall order, especially if you’ve been to the mall or a small Mom and Pop jewelry store. Very minimal reviews of people selling their jewelry or getting an appraisal here so I thought I would post my story, I came in with what I considered a good amount of gold and silver, I was buzzed into the door and greeted by a man who agreed to give me an assessment of all my pieces, he began by pulling out a tester which is supposed to tell you what kind of metal each piece is made of. He only tested items that looked appealing to him, he didn’t test all the pieces and threw aside many pieces he said were “worth nothing” after about 30 minutes, I had many items, he offered me a mere 1000 for everything..
