Family run business on Indiantown Rd. Carrying around non functioning watches for about a year now, it seemed like time ri get them working again. Oteri's was recommended by some friends in the area so off we went. We figured one only needed a battery but the other one stopped after being damaged during a riot at a juvenile detention facility. The comedians among us will remember this reporters adolescent behavior and wonder which side we were on. The answer being the side with keys and badges that went home every night. One evening i came home but it didn't look like my watch did. Stopped dead after the donnybrook earlier that day. Into the junk drawer went the paperweight disguised as a watch and there it lay, forgotten for a couple of years. New surroundings, new home- this one on wheels. A present to celebrate the divorce and the watch now lived in a junk drawer capable of 80 mph. Finally it was spring cleaning time this August- remember no watch, so we were off a bit. And sporting two inert watches a visit to friends other l pointed us to Oteri's. Going through the remote controlled security gate gets you into a tiny showroom. This isn't the jeweler at the mall. They specialize in wholesale but do a brisk retail business and buy jewelry and even did l fix watches and replace batteries. The battery change on watch one was almost too quick. The lady seemingly walked into the back and emerged minutes later with a working watch. Back she went to see what the issue was with our brave fallen chronometer. turns out. All ur need was q battery, .the extant power supply must have come loose while attempting to reason with today's misguided yout to quote My Cousin Vinny. All's well and if we need or want quality jewelry we know...
Read moreWe’ve been loyal customers of this jeweller for many years, but unfortunately, our most recent experience has left us extremely disappointed.
We recently visited the store to discuss having a necklace made using a stone we provided. After the consultation, we specifically asked them to hold off on doing any work as we needed some time to think about it. Despite this, they went ahead and completed the work without our consent. When we questioned them about it, they claimed we had approved it — something we are confident we did not do.
To make matters worse, their communication has been extremely unprofessional. They’ve been rude over the phone and via text, rather than working with us to find a resolution. Eventually, they said they would return the stone, but the overall experience has been incredibly upsetting.
It's really disheartening to be treated this way by a business we trusted for so long. We hope they reconsider how they handle customer communication and consent...
Read moreMy now fiancé did a great job by selecting this destination to buy the ring he proposed to me with. Marci was just the most gracious host to us when I went there for the first time to get my engagement sized. We went on a Sunday and realized late into the interaction that it was passed there closing time. They are truly centered on customer service because they welcomed us in anyway and sized my ring right there and then. I also dropped off some delicate gold pieces for repair at at very reasonable price. I can’t wait to get something custom from them. I need a wedding band to compliment my engagement ring as well as a band for my soon to be husband. I felt treated so well there. The ring he selected is a stunning rose gold ring iced with diamonds and featuring a pastel pink morganite stone! I am absolutely over the moon...
