Came here one time 2 weeks ago, sat outside, young girl waited on us and she was a real joy and service was awesome. Had the snapper which was more a large portion wife had the pompano special which was very good. I even took home a huge pot roast dinner that was highly recommended and only served on Sundays so i can enjoy it the next say as pot roast is always a good leftover dish.it did not dissapoint. So we came back 2 weeks later and brought a friend after telling her how good it was only to be very disappointed.i ordered the snapper again, it was dried out and 1/2 the portion as 1st time. Over done to the point where I barely ate half of it and left it. My rice whi h was awesome tbe 1st vidt was also dried out and hard ( as in when you scrape tbe bottom of the pot) but again, tbe rice itself was a disaster. Didn't eat it and mentioned it to the bartender waitress who said she will let the Simone know about it and that she was sorry. .. that was the last we heard from that. Our friend ordered a grilled grouper, she didn't eat much of it as that was way overdone and dry and she had a white rice( different than my yellow) which she did not eat because she claimed it was dry etc. Wife had the chicken and brie sandwich which she enjoyed and I tasted it and it was very good. The shrimp appy which was like a bang bang shrimp was a huge portion and very good although a bit too crunchy after a few pieces.. but I guess it is the type of batter used as they were not over cooked. I would recommend it. So 2 of the 3 entrees were a disaster.. not acceptable. We had 8 drinks, brought some nice biz, was a bit upset that we told friend this was the place for her to try as she wanted to bring us somewhere else. Not sure if we...
Read moreI am fairly new to Jupiter and I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while. So last night I decided to stop in instead of cooking. As I’m walking into the restaurant I am verbally assaulted by vulgarity by another customer and his friend. As I’m getting to the hostess stand they continue and I turned around and told them I am not going to tolerate that behavior and you are out of line The hostesses (3 of them ) said to me good for you finally somebody said something to them. I sat down at the bar ordered an iced tea and a salmon dinner, Then bartender came over and apologized said he’s not normally like that. My response was clearly he is because the hostess and the other women out there all confirmed that he is. Does the manager come over no.Keep in mind two bartenders and three hostesses witnessed the whole thing. Does anybody say anything to the vulgar man and tell him to calm down no. Finally I asked for the manager, After I finish my meal. I felt it was important to say something so that other women wouldn’t feel threatened when they come in. Instead of listening to me Pauli’s yelled at me, interrupt me and blamed me for him not knowing that it occurred He 100% let me know that my safety and well-being did not matter. This is the first and only time I will ever come to this restaurant. I will not put myself in harms way. It was clear to me that Safety of women is not a priority at this...
Read moreThis is a nice place to get a nice meal. If you’re looking for good, fresh fish this is it. You can even bring in your own catch (cleaned & filleted, up to 1 lb. per guest) and they’ll cook it for you...fried, grilled, blackened or sautéed with your choice of 2 sides for $12.95 per person.
This evening, my spouse and I ordered grilled Mahi for me and grilled Snapper for him. Each dish came with rice and sautéed veggies. My Mahi at $17.99 was a bit dry, grilled Mahi usually is but I love the taste, and was a generous portion. Veggies seemed to be fresh, not frozen and were tasty. My husband enjoyed the Snapper at $19.99 and got a good size portion as well. Any fish on the Market Seafood menu can also be grilled, blackened or sautéed.
I ordered a glass of Woodbridge Pinot Noir for $5 and it was a generous pour. My husband had a Captain Morgan’s rum and coke for $6. They have Happy Hour Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Drinks are $1 off.
