I would give Paige more stars if possible. She is the most talented seamstress I have ever met, she has a degree in fashion design and can take any alteration, from simple changes to completely remodeling a dress of any fabric and make it PERFECT. I took a wedding dress to her that another seamstress in Grand Rapids told me was impossible to alter and felt so hopeless and she made it absolutely perfect. I have to admit I initially didn’t trust the process, it was really scary to see the seams taken apart and the cups taken down etc, but I didn’t realize that she was literally remaking the dress as a custom fit. I ended up taking 3 dresses to her for my wedding and everything turned out better than I could have imagined. I will take every single dress to her in the future, there is no one better. She custom fit each dress to me and even re-altered a dress that I had taken to another seamstress and paid $479 for hemming and strap tightening only to realize it was still too long and the straps were over tightened when in reality the cups needed to be sized for my body. My reception dress was shortened, the train was taken off but she kept the detailed lace from the very edge and moved it up so the bottom still has the beautiful lace detail. The bust and waist (with boning) was taken in, hips let out then low back taken in so that every single part of the dress fit flawlessly. We spent hours trying to get the bust perfect and she ended up sewing two cups together then sewing them into the dress so that I didn’t need boomba or tape or anything, it just fit perfectly. I was in a rush and had bought the dress off the rack so some beading on the straps came off and the low back buttons were loose, she put beads back on and redid the buttons so everything was like new. I came to her about a month before my wedding in tears with three dresses and she finished everything with time to spare, and communicated with me through the entire process.

Her home is so welcoming, I always felt comfortable there no matter how long my appointment took, and I feel like I left with another friend.

Bottom line-she may be a little more expensive than another seamstress (not by much honestly) but if you want someone to take excellent care of you, make sure your dress is PERFECT even if someone else told you it can’t be done-you need to go to Paige. PAIGE IS AMAZING!!!!! I did not realize how far in advance I needed to schedule dress alterations and I had TWO dresses and was a little crunched for time a few months before the wedding. I didn’t know any seamstresses in the area but a friend got married earlier in 2024 and used Paige and gave me her contact info. Paige was awesome with making the timeline work and the dresses were GORG!

Dress 1 didn’t need too much; took out a layer of tule, took out the waists so I could breathe, and she evened out the bow in the back. She also created a BEAUTIFUL bustle and it was one of my favorite parts of my dress!

Dress 2 had some major changes! It was a mermaid style dress with intricate bead work all on the dress. Paige was amazing at figuring out what would work best for the dancing dress while making it flattering for my body shape. It was so fun and comfortable! Paige was also amazing and used the extra fabric from my dresses to make pocket squares for my husband, grandpa, and brother!

Paige was always so professional, had great communication, was accommodating for what I was looking for, and her work was FABULOUS quality! I could not recommend her enough for wedding or any other formal alterations 💕

Paige was incredible to work with for many reasons. Paige is extremely professional and personable. She let me know exactly what to expect with the alterations, timeline, and price estimation during my first appointment. Paige was also very creative. She replaced the straps on my wedding dress that were damaged because I had bought the floor model dress. She altered the waist of my dress while still keeping the sheer siding that I loved. She fit the dress exactly to my body while keeping it comfortable for me to move and breathe. I felt absolutely stunning in my dress. The price was worth the service I received.
