My second experience here left a lot to be desired. The person who did my pedicure didn't offer a drink and barely said hello to me. I chose the Bloom pedicure (3rd in the menu as far as price and what's included). He seemed inconvenienced when I finally asked for a drink. The entire process was very rushed and he completed the pedicure in about 15 minutes. In comparison, the lady next to me started a few minutes before me but finished about 20 minutes later for a classic pedicure. It's worth mentioning that I had an appointment and was not a walk in.
My toenails were not filed properly and the filed residue was left hanging off my nails. Most nails were left jagged to the touch. There was very little cuticle care and I can still see the dead cuticles and hangnails around most of my toenails. The callus removal was sub par as he didn't do the outside part of my feet on either foot. He did provide a good massage on my calves but didn't massage my actual feet at all, and he definitely didn't do the extended massage the Bloom pedicure includes. He applied the mask very unevenly. He rushed through painting the toenails and left bubbles or missed spots on multiple toes including entire corners.
I noticed that as soon as he was finished he rushed out to smoke a cigarette, came back inside then left 5 minutes later. No one came to check on me and I had to take the toe separators off, put my shoes on and then find someone so I could pay.
Overall, it was a very disappointing experience resulting in sloppy work. I know I could have said something in the moment but I don't feel like I had a chance because he rushed and didn't even ask me for feedback (except if I liked the color). I also hoped that the end result would be ok, but confirmed it wasn't upon further inspection when I got home. I'll call to scehdule a clean up and new polish tomorrow.
I would recommend Kenny for a better experience. He did my pedicure the first time and he was excellent. From my chair today, it looked like Vincent took great care of his client too and I would book my next pedicure with him if Kenny is...
Read moreIâve been coming here for close to a year. Itâs been hit and miss on my dip manicure and pedicure. Iâve had to go back a few times because the nail job was just sloppy. I donât have the time to spend going back and forth. I was there on Tuesday 7/22/25 and Vincent did my nails and pedicure. My nails are super lumpy and he knew it because when he saw me looking at them he began to make excuses saying âit was because of the color I chose thatâs why itâs lumpy and that my nail bed is too flat.â I didnât say anything because I had decided in that moment that I wasnât coming back. I had an allergic reaction to the gel on my toenails. So I called today 7/25/25 an explained to the owner he said come in and we will take the gel off and paint it with regular nail polish. Mind you Vincent insisted I do gel on my toes ($20 extra) I told him I think Iâm allergic he said no problem come in and we will take it off and repaint at no charge. Fast forward to today the lady paints my toes and it looks like my 2 year old daughter painted them. I didnât complain because again I donât plan to come back there. I get up to leave when this lady comes running behind me yelling I have to pay for service. I said no I donât. She asked me to come back and talk to her boss. As Black Woman I was absolutely mortified, embarrassed, and shocked as everyone is looking at me and judging me. The owner says you did a color change so you have to pay. I explained to him what happened (for the 3rd time). He said you should have had Vincent do it then. Sir itâs not my responsibility on who you assign to me. I was like Iâd rather pay, then for it to look as though Iâm trying to dine and dash đ. Iâll never go back there and I hope this review help those who are deciding whether to go. Itâs a zero out of...
Read moreI went in to bloom last week and paid almost $200 to get my nails and toes done. I got dip with a design on my nails. I have been going since theyâve opened and have been happy with my results until this last time. After a week of having the dip on my nails the sides were lifting and pulling off. I have stains on my nails from water getting in between my nails and the dip. I went in and explained what happened and that Iâd like to remove the dip and let my nails breathe and Iâd like them to cover the cost of taking them off, since they are at fault. The gentleman at the door looked at me and said they only guarantee the nails for 3 days, after that itâs my problem. So I went to another salon and explained what happened. Iâve been to this other salon plenty of times and she knows me and my nails. The lady fixing my nails said they drilled my nails down so thin and that my nail beds are rough and coarse. She said I usually have nice shiny nails and that my nails are pretty much messed up until they grow out. I am astounded that Bloom would rather lose a loyal customer rather than take off my dip which I know cost less then $20. Itâs bad business and really upset me that the man at Bloom could care less about what their salon did...
