Whataburger Review:
Upon entering the establishment, I was initially apprehensive due to the negative rumors that had circulated. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find a stylish and bustling venue filled with enthusiastic customers, instilling a sense of reassurance. Adorning the wall was a prominently displayed, autographed jersey of the esteemed football player, Patrick Mahomes, serving as a testament to the establishment's regard for excellence. Joining the swiftly moving queue towards the register, I was warmly greeted by a congenial lady adorned in a Whataburger polo shirt, who efficiently and cheerfully took my order.
While awaiting my meal, an incident unfolded before my eyes: a young girl accidentally dropped a sauce packet, causing it to burst open on the floor. Much to my observation, the attentive staff member sprang into action, swiftly rectifying the situation. In a matter of moments, a fresh packet of sauce was placed in the grateful child's hand, earning sincere appreciation from both her and her mother for the exemplary service rendered. These observations, though unrelated to my own dining experience, spoke volumes about the establishment's commitment to customer satisfaction.
As I patiently awaited my order, my dining companion struck up an engaging conversation with an eccentric individual who seemed to be displaying peculiar behavior. The man, exhibiting signs of inebriation, unexpectedly expressed his profound admiration for roller coasters, a topic that arose unprompted and without provocation. Nonetheless, this encounter provided a glimpse into the diverse array of characters present within the restaurant.
Just as my curiosity grew amidst the various interactions unfolding around me, my food was promptly delivered to the table where I had patiently awaited its arrival. Despite the relatively short duration of my stay, I had already witnessed a plethora of intriguing encounters among the restaurant's patrons. Opting to enjoy our meal outdoors, my group navigated through the contented throng of customers towards the exit, with our delectable fare in hand. While skepticism still lingered, I maintained a sense of optimism.
Upon reaching the Macy's parking lot, my companions and I settled on a curb, eagerly embarking on our culinary adventure. To our absolute astonishment, the food surpassed all expectations, offering a truly delightful experience. The meticulously crafted beef burger, adorned with succulent bacon, bore testament to the artisanal attention and care invested in its preparation. The sheer flavor and quality of the meal elicited jubilant exclamations from our group, dispelling any doubt sown by the malicious rumors we had encountered. The temporary discomfort of the cement beneath us was inconsequential when juxtaposed with the exquisite flavors dancing upon our palates. In fact, one of my friends even indulged in over 2,000 calories worth of Whataburger's delectable offerings.
Following the consumption of our scrumptious burgers, we reveled in a lighthearted camaraderie, regaling one another with humorous anecdotes from our shared experience. Eager to spread the word about our highly positive encounter, we contacted some famished acquaintances. However, to our dismay, they had already made alternate dining plans, remaining oblivious to the false narratives that had tainted their perception. We endeavored to persuade them, offering insights into our firsthand experience, yet their unwavering adherence to the unfounded rumors left us disheartened, as their lack of open-mindedness seemed devoid of empathy. We could only marvel at their failure to recognize the richness of our encounter, an opportunity missed due to their regrettably...
Read moreFirst let me start by saying the hamburgers are always delicious and I love them. I do rate low on the fries though. This is my third time having Whataburger and the service was not very good. I work in as a host/food runner in a restaurant and I have worked in the Pizza Industry so I very much know working with the public can be stressful and Iâm typically understanding. Although, the girl that helped me at the window was incredibly rude. The windows open and I try to hand her my card. She says âWhatâs the name of your order.â So I tell her my name but Iâm confused because the guy who took my order didnât ask for my name. So naturally I say âI didnât order my food online.â And then the girl rudely says, âThis isnât togo food itâs for my drive through.â Treating me like Iâm dumb. (Okay girl sorry Iâm confused why youâre asking me for my name when the last two times Iâve been here Iâve never been asked for my name. đ) she then proceeded to fill my drinks and then rudely says with an attitude âHere are your straws have a GREAT night.â I know Iâm not being overdramatic because when I drove away the first thing my boyfriend said was, âthat girl was really nasty towards you.â Like Iâve mentioned as someone who works with the public this is not acceptable. I typically am a very understanding person but this girls attitude was...
Read moreLets be real, this is a regional classic in Texas (my regional classic is In and Out and whataburger is NO in and out!) but it was popularized in KC by Patrick Mahomes. The food is good for fast food. Is it OMG amazing? no not at all. I would say though, for a part of the country where everything is closed at 10pm, I like it is 24 hours. It would be great at 3am, but at 12pm when I have other options, it falls off the list quickly.
I went in a few weeks ago and I was helped by what appeared to be a manager. He did not know how the system worked which is okay, maybe a NEW manager. I ordered a burger and he said, "with ketchup?" I said "However it comes." (I am unsure of ingredients because this is second time there). He puts it in and starts asking about other ingredients. Again, I say "however it comes." He rings up a combo and I said, "No, I asked for the burger and fries only, no drink." He couldn't figure it out. I read the screen and it appears the ketchup is NOT as it comes and was added. Again, I said, "if the burger does not come with ketchup, please do not add it. I would like the burger as it comes." Again, he just stands there...
