Streetcar Grille & Tavern KC Northland — Restaurant in Kansas City

Was excited to try this new place and very disappointed. Saturday around 330 pm. The seats are comfy. Service, terrible. Waited 10 minutes and finally got our own meanus from the hostess. The bartender was our "waiter" who brought us our drinks and came back to ask "what do we want" and proceeded to walk away before we were even done ordering. I had to go back up to the bar to complete the order. Never been treated so rudely for no reason at all. The menu sounds delicious on paper but gets lost in the actual production of the food. Scotch eggs are on the menu but they don't actually have them. The little extras like jalapeno jam on my burger and pablano horseradish on the reuben were missing. Several menu items were unavailable. Food overall was mediocre. Definitely not worth the 50.00 we spent on 2 sandwiches and an appetizer. Overall, worst restaurant experience I've had in a long time.

Edit: I check the reviews from time to time to see if conditions have improved and I can't help but notice people that give a 5 star rating are the only ones who's reviews are acknowledged by management. That tells me everything I need to know about ever giving this place...

We were excited to try this place. Looked online at the menu and was happy to see a wide selection. When we arrived around noon we got a brunch menu. We were unaware they ONLY serve brunch on Saturday and Sundays until 1pm. We went ahead and stayed since we already sat down and honestly we should of left and went somewhere else. The "stuffed" French toast wasn't really stuffed and didn't have much filling of any kind. The streetcar skillet did not have any flavor. Ended up spending about $55 bucks on two people and it was defiantly not worth it and we left hungry. Upon looking at the website when we left there is no note that brunch is the ONLY menu available on Saturday and Sunday until 1pm only that you can still order from it until 1pm since it's breakfast style food. Hopefully they can update their website where it says main menu is not available until 1pm as it saying brunch is available until 1pm is confusing and not clear it is the only menu available but making it sound like you can order from the breakfast selection until 1. Very disappointed with our first visit here! We have been to the downtown location several times so when I was craving a buffalo chicken sandwich last night I thought we would try out this location. I placed a call in order over the phone, two buffalo chicken sandwiches both fried, one regular, one without garnish and blue cheese instead of pepper jack. Upon arriving I asked the person to verify everything was correct, they assured me it was. I get out to my car to find two grilled sandwiches both have garnish and no blue cheese. I go back in, ask the guy to please write down my order and have to wait about 15 minutes for the order to be remade. Come back out to my car, both sandwiches still have garnish and no blue cheese. I officially gave up and decided to run to the grocery store to buy my own blue cheese, an extra $7 added to my dinner. I’ve never had this issue at the downtown location!
