I have lived in Kansas City since 2002 and this is the first time I have visited the Bruce R Watkins Cultural Center. I had no idea that he was such an interesting figure. I am not a Kansas City native so I don't know the history as well as some. Was very impressed by the fact that he was a Tuskegee Airmen. I only had a few minutes to spend. I am definitely planning to go back but I have longer. Clinton at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure that I had a great experience. They have the perfect person working that job.
