World's of Fun's very own GCI diamond in the rough! Prowler is one of my personal favorite coasters due to its pops of air, terrain twister layout, and the comfy goodness that is Millennium Flyer trains. The ride had portions retracked with GCI's steel Titan Track (and it sings) for the 2025 season and I'm curious to see where they go with it from here.
Riding tips: You can get a good, whippy ride on Prowler in the back. Due to hugging the terrain and a decade-and-a-half's worth of vegetation growing in, Prowler offers some stupendous night rides. Unfortunately, Worlds of Fun cutting their weekday hours means the only times to score a Prowler night ride are peak days like Independence Day or during Haunt. Read moreI really want to love Prowler. A lot of coaster enthusiasts rave about it, say it's the best ride in the park. Unfortunately I found it to be rather rough. I do love the layout, the drop is great, and the wild plunging and twisting through the woods really is reminiscent of a pouncing panther.
