This first part of this ride is incredible, that is the large hills you see from around the park. The second part, the big helix into the mid-course break run is also fast and fun. The third part is a bit disappointing, this is the small bunny hills back to the station. The mid-course breaks kill all the speed and the train just glides over these without giving much or any airtime. If they let the train keep some speed these would probably be a lot of fun. Edit: on cooler days/nights they don’t have the mid course breaks hit as hard and you can get some good airtime on the last hills. Despite the ending the first and second parts are so good this is still a five star ride. Definitely worth multiple rides on a visit to the park. One other note. I’m a bigger guy and these trains are very comfortable. Great ride.

A hidden gem among hypercoasters and greatly improved by 2022 upgrades to its chain lift motor and a fantastic lack of trims on its mid-course brakes. The helix offers a great headchopper effect and the bunny hills on the return trip offer an ejector airtime buffet. Also, that new green paint job pops! Riding Tips: I don't really have any here. Mamba is the green (and smoother!) descendant of Cedar Point's Magnum XL-200. Much like Magnum, the smoothest ride is found by sitting on the middle row on any car.

Mamba is one of my favorite rides at World of fun! It's so thrilling with 205ft drop. If your a thrill seeker it's definitely for you! You can't miss this ride in the park because it's the big red one. Also my favorite thing is when you leave the station to up the the hill and you hear them say "hold on tight, and don't look back. The Mamba's about attack!".

The Mamba is a part of the World's of Fun Amusement Park in Kansas City, MO right now. There's a hill in the the Mamba that's more than 4 stories high... I thought that was pretty cool to me to go that high up over Kansas City in October of 2018. I went with my brother, sister, my brother's son and my sister's daughter as well as my sister's boyfriend to World's of Fun...

There's another rollercoaster that runs underneath the track that I would have liked to have ridden, but we didn't have a chance to ride that...

This coaster is awesome! I've ridden Mamba and it's brother coaster Wild Thing at Valleyfair and I do enjoy Wild Thing a bit more for the tunnel etc. But Mamba is a great ride with some really fun elements. I was hesitant to do so, but holding up your hands for that first big drop and on makes everything so much more fun! That intense banked turn where you're superrr close to the ground... so much fun! If you go to World's of Fun, trust me! Even if you're scared, face your fears and ride this coaster! You will...
