Basically like an upscale D&B or Main Event, with the main emphasis of course being the karting with 3 different levels being offered. Fast and satisfying go karting on the adult course, the rush of beating your own lap time is addicting. Everything arcade machine and attraction here is high quality, standard issue, and in working order for these family center types of businesses which seem to be more on the rundown side nowadays. Overall would be most appealing to adults and teens. Kids will do okay here too, but probably no younger since there's almost nothing for those below the age of six to enjoy here.
I've seen that scheduling can get hectic, so be vigilant and avoid scheduling two conflicting events within the same time frames. Give at least a good 30 minute gap between scheduled events. Plan to spend a long while here and you should be able to get through all attractions even during its busiest days, you will not get through all of Andrettis in anything less than 2-3 hours. Even so, there's lots to do during the interim.
The bar and restaurant areas here often seem understaffed, on some really busy weekend nights only one of two bars up and running with a max of 2 tenders. Not a dealbreaker as there are no shortage of both bars and restaurants within walking distance of this place to visit before or after your time here. Though I've never personally tried the food since I have many other favorite local eateries in the area.
Service goes from passable to great, some are evidently more passionate about their work here than others, about what you expect. Sometimes gets oddly sketchy later at night. You will smell some funky grass and see hotboxing in the parking lot, bottles of alcohol left in the bushes, and a police cruiser parked out front on occasion. No major incidents but still more rowdy activity than I'd suspect from a family establishment. To best avoid all that, I recommend being done here before nightfall.
Overall, Andretti's is a very cool and modern entertainment center but probably only best caters to a very specific crowd, and is probably a bit too steep on the pricing to make some guests feel like they got all of their moneys worth. Sometimes trying to please everyone ends poorly, so Andrettis can be a golden ticket and a repeat visit for those with expectations able to be nailed; Karting fans, those preferring a more modern take on the old arcade format, and families with older kids looking for an outing that will appeal to everyone...
Read moreAlert!!! If you wear prescription glasses and you can not see good to drive without them then do not bother doing the go karts. This should be a huge main question for every customer that want go kart passes. Whether anyone in their party wear rx glasses and can they see good enough to drive without them? This way they will not have to spend money when they will not be able to use the pass or risk running into walls they can not see good. There should be a way for you to still be able to put your glasses on in order to see. Driving blind or with limited vision around the track at that speed is a huge issue this could be a main reason why the karts are slowed down due to someone who wear glasses and can not see the turns. We paid for a package and didn't get what we asked for so it was money spent for no reason. Then there is no refund which is very inconvenient because if someone wear glasses and was never told at the front counter before purchasing that they will not be able to wear them during the race is a huge inconvenience which your paying for an attraction that you can't even utilize so unfair. or the cashier did not confirm what they are charging you for was correct and they charge you for wring item is an inconvenience when you have to stand in line for the attractions and then inline again to speak to cashier just to be told no refund rip off. We wanted laser tag and instead didn't have it on receipt after laser tag employee brought it to our attention. What ever VR experience pass is we did not get that pass at all nor explain on how to get it to work. So lot of money and time spent and no rules or direction from any employees at all about how these passes work or even an confirmation on what they are charging you for to be sure that is what you want. Parking is none have ride round and round pray some one come out spaces super tight. Be ware if you can not see without your glasses driving the go karts you will have whatever vision you have when you take them off. Some hills if you go fast up there is an immediate turn and if you can't see you will run into that wall cause you don't have time to focus to see it and turn at same time. I would like my Refund!!! Need more clear instructions at the counter on how all attractions work n main questions Does anyone in your party wear glasses and can they see good enough to be able to drive...
Read moreI went here with my friend on a Wednesday a week ago with the hopes of racing super track day before schools took off for the winter break. It turned out no so already it was misleading but I was still wanting to race. When I finally started racing with my friend the track had absolutely no grip and it was like driving on ice. I race professionally, and I was struggling so you can imagine my friend who was not a professional and everyone else. When I complained to the Manager Brian, he unprofessionally directed me to the track manager and gave me plenty of excuses. The track manager and Brian revealed that they do not apply the track grip polish to make the track have grip because it is the weekday and they only apply it on the weekends, but the track for safety, comfort, and entertainment reasons should always have grip. Brian and the track manager made up plenty of excuses such as the new karts and the track resurfacing as to why that day we did not have grip but at the end of the day the main issue was the crew did not apply the track polish which is plain and simple. My question is does this place care more when the place is busier on weekends than on weekdays because I have been going here on weekdays and weekends for the past 2 years and have never encountered this much carelessness and laziness for track conditions. The track charges the same weekdays and weekends but they do not bother to give weekday customers a good experience which makes me wonder if this place actually cares about customer experience now. Me and my friend finished the rest of our races as a professional courtesy but we will never come back until the issue is fixed. I have been coming here for the last 2 years and I have never had a worse experience like this until now. I will not be coming back to this place until the management fixes the glaring issues with the track and its staff for customer communication because if I am paying more that $30 a race the least that could be done is have the track be up to a good standard for safety and enjoyment. I want to come back to this track and gave a great experience like I have been for the past 2 years, but the issue on track grip needs to fixed. Also to note please have a schedule on super track days so that us customers do not waste our time driving up here and being fooled that the it is not...
