People Skate and Snowboard — Attraction in Keego Harbor

The folks over at People are some of the Kindest, Quickest, and Reliable shops I've found on the web. If I lived close, i'd be a fixture within their walls. In a world of people and shops falling under par, this Shop is The Real Deal. Again, they are Fast, Dependable, Trustworthy, and Massively Helpful. Also, in a land full of Mall Shops and Outlets, the way in which they do business certainly shows that the World at Large needs more people and True Shops like this. They represent, in my eyes, what Skating can, and should, be. It can clearly be seen that they live and breathe The Essence of True Skateboarding, which is where I came from in the early 90's. The World, and Skateboarding as a whole, is better off with folks and shops like this in existence. Awesome store. I went in wanting to buy a longboard but I knew almost nothing about. The guy must have spent atleast like 30 minutes with me just talking about longboards and showing me what they had, trying to find out what was best for me. He let me step on the longboards and push off a little so I could get a feel. This was awesome because it let me know what I was buying and helped me pick the right one. The thing I liked most is that he wasn't trying to sell me the highest priced items in the store. He knew I was a beginner and he said I buying some of the top quality/ priced stuff was unnecessary and really saved me a lot of money. Awesome store, without a doubt my new #1...

Stopped in because I needed some new bibs and the wife needed some new bindings before our weekend boarding trip. John was working and he took care of us with a smile (even though we walked in 15minutes before closing on a Friday night like some jerks). He slapped the new bindings on in no time (after giving us some helpful info, and making sure the set my wife wanted worked for her board and boots nicely), and he made sure we got the current BOGO 50% discount on our new gloves.
