I like to use this forum to express my sincere thanks and appreciation to Mr. Bradley McDaniel, Property Manager, Pine Lake Manor Apartments, for the excellent initiative and wisdom displayed in handling my recent desperate and sudden issue/problem which was beyond my control. My new phone device containing all essential information was stuck and would not respond to commands. I was completely cut off from all contact communication, as I relied solely on this phone device for all contacts. To restore the phone services, I had to urgently report to T-Mobile store, from where I purchased the phone device. I use Lyft or Uber ride services for outside engagements. With this problem, I could not book a ride to T-Mobile store because their phone contact information was in the malfunctioning phone device. This made my problem worse, and I became very desperate to look for a ride to T-Mobile store. While I started thinking of who I could contact for suggestions for help, my mind went to the Manager's office, though I knew my problem was not official. I would normally phone the office, but this time, I did not have the Manager's phone number off head as it is saved in the phone device. I had to walk down to the office in the cold snowy weather to alert Bradley of my problem and possible suggestions. Bradley was very sympathetic and used his initiative to call a few residents who might be willing to help. Through his immediate action, I was luckily linked to a very kind lady within the estate who gave me a ride to T-Mobile store where my phone device was successfully restored within a short time. Bradley thus resolved my desperate problem through this kind and immediate action. I am impressed and very grateful to him and the kind Lady. This action was real kindness displayed by both Bradley and the lady who gave me the ride to T-Mobile store. I cannot but express my gratitude to Bradley and the lady for their kindness. Lessons I have learnt from this problem:- (1) The kind lady and I are happy and have become family friends. We both agreed to pick me up regularly for future engagements, including shopping, on special contract basis. (2) When we are confronted with unexpected desperate challenges that are beyond our control, we are naturally confused. Instead of being stressed, we should face the problem and look for solution. Because problems are usually temporary, they make us stronger. We should seek help and speak out to those who would genuinely help us directly or indirectly. (3) Most problems/challenges could lead to new opportunities for all parties involved when they are successfully resolved. (4) It is always good to be good. Often times, when we help others, we are indirectly helping ourselves. (5) Finally, we should try to copy/write into our diaries, very important information, like phone numbers, important dates and information etc. in case our phone is lost, stolen, or malfunction to avoid falling into similar...
Read moreI’ve been living here for the past 2 years come the end of this month. I was here when Bradley became the new manager & he is really one of a kind. On every holiday they drop off a little goodie bag at your door, as well as food get togethers once in a while! He’s really trying to make this a better community! I’m sad to be moving out this month just for the sole purpose i don’t think I’ll ever have a better property manager then himself.
Now the apartments themselves are very outdated. I will say maintenance will come in a quickly manner, even the ones after hours, & for sure do their job to the best of their ability. The last cosmetic thing that was upgraded to every home was the balconies (if you have one), just built new ones with new wood. The inside of the apartments are pretty outdated. Most problems will get fixed by putting a bandaid over it, not fixing it completely. I have to turn my dryer on 2 1/2-3 times for my clothes to get fully dry, which is kinda hard when I work awkward hours & there’s times to do laundry so it doesn’t disturb other residents. My dishwasher hasent been draining so nasty water stays at the bottom they put electrical tape over the vent on the dryer (that my cats did mess up, although I did pay $40 for them to just patch it with tape that is now falling off all over again) my stove has one plate that chooses when it wants to work.
Since I’ve moved here, the rent has increased by 200, which is normal for having new management & inflation. But shouldn’t the cabinets, dishwasher, washer, dryer, pretty much everything needs to be upgraded. The person who lived here before me was here for 3 years and he knew the person before him, let’s just say it’s been a very long time since any of the appliances have been replaced. They will fix it, but it seems to always be a temporary fix.
Overall I enjoyed living here, never had issues with the area or my neighbors. It’s a pretty decent deal considering what rent is right now, but still needs a lot of TLC, which hopefully will...
Read moreI did a walk through of a 1bed 1bath apartment today at Pine Lake Manor Apartments. I was happy to see fresh projects underway, trees being trimmed back away from parking lot and fresh coat of paint on the pool. The layout of the community is very inviting with a big courtyard to play, barbeque, and enjoy nature in. The apartment itself was very spacious for a single person to live in. Tons of closet space and the bathrooms are quite large with room for improvements. The manager, Bethany, that was kind enough to show me around was a delight. She informed me that they are currently looking at many other upgrades for the community. There are only a few apartments available which tells me that the people that live here tend to stick around and I'm sure will enjoy everything new that the management is trying to accomplish. All in all I think that this is a very valid place to live with management that cares, the lake nearby, and plenty of shops and things to do around town for...
