Lovely community park in historic downtown Kemmerer, WY. The JC Penney "Mother Store" is just across the street, as are several restaurants, bars, and gift shops. There is a small museum and gift shop at the park itself, and restrooms and picnic tables are available for visitor use. Triangle Park is also the site of the annual Oyster Ridge Music Festival (last weekend in July), a wonderful free music festival featuring both independent and signed touring bands, food and craft vendors, and a whole lot of fun for all ages. Bring your own lawn chairs and shade if you need it, otherwise, you will get sunburnt! While you're here, take advantage of the opportunity to visit Fossil Butte National Monument, or dig for fossilized fish at one of the nearby private quarries (with permission, of course!). Oh, and eat pizza at Rosie's -- da bomb! Photos represent several different visits over the years as we live just...

Drove out to the Oyster Ridge music festival. The Dead South was playing. We had such a great time. The locals were so nice and my wife fell in love with the town. See you all next time.

What a cool little town park. There is historical information on the town, which seems pretty nice to live in. There is also an information center here.
