First of all, I regret not reading the reviews before purchasing anything from Elite Fashions. I had a horrible experience with the owner of the store. In April, I entered her store looking for a mother of the bride's dress. I found a dress that I liked. She wrote down my order, including size, color and item number. She told me it would take 2 months. My daughter's wedding was in October, so it would give me ample time for alterations etc. I paid for the dress in full, plus a $40 shipping charge. The end of June, I started calling to check on my dress. It was always an excuse. I would call once a week. Finally, I told her that I wanted a definite answer by the end of the week. She told me that they were shipping it in two weeks. Almost 3 weeks past, I called her, and she told me the dress had come in. The next day I made the hour trip to the store. A dress is hanging in the dressing room. It was not the dress I ORDERED. It was the right color, but it was short sleeves and made totally different. She tried to act like she didn't realize it. I asked her to call the company and find out what happened. While she's on phone, the other worker was putting out dresses. I asked her how long a dress usually takes to come in. She told me about 3 weeks. Then, I ask her to show me the actual dress I ordered. She told me that they removed it because it's out of stock. I realized the owner had deceived me. The owner got off the phone and told me that it is out of stock. At that point, I realized she had already known that. I expressed to her that the company should have told you that 2 months ago and you should have called to tell me. After discussing the situation, I'm worried I will have a problem finding another dress this late. She precedes to tell me to pick another dress out and she would have it overnighted to me. She gave me $20 back because of the price difference. She said it would take two weeks to come in and then she would ship it to me overnight. This was how she was going to compensate me. The dress came in a little over two weeks. She called me and said she would be sending out to me the next day. Two days later, I have no dress. I call her and left messages. Finally, my daughter calls, she told her she was shipping it the next day. Now, three days have gone by. I call 2 days later she said she shipped it. The next day my daughter calls because it still is not in. She lied to her as of when she shipped it. (The UPS store is next door to her store) I ended up getting it on Saturday, instead of getting it on the Monday before. This lady lied to me several times.    Read moreLet me begin by saying I NEVER ONCE WALKED OUT OF THIS STORE WITH A DRESS IN HAND AND WAS REFUSED A REFUND!!!!! I ordered a dress from one of their magazines back in November 2022. I was advised that the dress would come in with a few weeks and I paid it in full. I called the end of December and was told the dress would be delivered in a week. Then that never happened, I called everyday for a week and was told different excuses each time I spoke to the lady. I guess when she finally had no other excuses to tell me she told me to come in and pick another dress and she would cover the difference. We came in, picked another dress but was charged an extra $150. When my husband found out he was livid because I was told there would be no additional charges and she would come out her pocket if there was. I went back to the store for a full refund and was denied. She then showed me some sign saying no refunds or credits, but I never received the dress for a legitimate refund. I had to file a disput with my credit card company. I will never shop here again nor would I recommend this...
   Read moreI love this place!! I got my dress from prom last year here and everything went smoothly. This year our guideline requirements are mo high splits. The dress I got was amazing and I really liked it but it had a high split, so we requested that the seamstres that Ms. Raj knows to sew it down 2-3 inches and CONFIRMED before we left. Mind you, another lovely woman was buying this dress for me and she decided to pick it up for me, and I'm not sure if she knew about the slit situation. She delivers it to my mom, my mom gives it to me and I never tried on the dress? Even though I was supposed to so I could make sure the slit was low enough so this is bad on my part as well! It's day of prom and I'm putting on the dress, the SLIT is the EXACT same , TOO HIGH!! Yes it was on me for not checking it ahead of time, but did we not ask for the slit to be brought down??
