This Waffle House was terrible today. Service is usually okay but today I was asked to leave because I waited 25 minutes for booth so I could have breakfast and read over some material before going to work. I was embarrassed by staff and manager in front of customers and made to feel like it was my fault that I was seated in a booth since they were busy.
Actually I wasn't even aware of the Waffle House policy until the manager told me and tried to lecture me about the posted Waffle house rules. I usually eat at Waffle house 2 - 3 times a week especially early morning hours before going to work or late at night after work. I have never had a problem until now about seating. I will probably think twice now before eating at this Waffle house location.
Staffing is horrible and service is terrible especially when they get busy. They can't can't even get it right when it's slow so how can you expect them to get it right when it's busy. No coffee brewed, waffles doughy, food cold, etc.
WH staff know their regulars and should be accommodating when possible. I understand that a 4 top will turn more customers and allow customers to get serviced quicker but what if I was very hungry and I wanted to order three Allstar breakfast to have some to go, how would I fit all that on a small place. The point is it doesn't matter because your regulars make your business grow not ones who come to WH occasionally.
Hopefully new management will prevail and additional training given to staff and supervisors on how to treat customers because it's not their business. I don't know if this is a corporate waffle house but it's losing money every day due to...
Read moreI must say, the Customer Service Industry isn't completely hopeless. Last night my I had a very pleasurable experience; something I find myself absolutely furiously annoyed and sometimes appalled by the treatment and/or lack there of, of how employees now a days have complete disregard of proper etiquette 101 on How To Treat Customers. I could vent this steam pot till exhaustion on this issue or at times I have to try really hard to find self restraint to not jump over a counter and snatch a B!t*h balder than an eagle!! Anyway, more importantly, there was this woman who took my order over the phone who was so polite, patient, customer satisfaction driven, not at all showing attitude or discuss towards me for just simply bringing my business to their business (ultimately if you really think about it customers, recurring customers are who help insure the business succeeding allowing employers to be able to write yours, mine, his, and hers PAYCHECK). As soon as I walked in she called me by name with anticipation, to serve me her customer, as if she had just showed up to work that night to just simply help and serve others. The way she would in return want to be treated!!! HER NAME WAS ORA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HERE IS TO ORA FOR HER EXCELLENCE AND HOSPITALITY!!!!!!...
Read moreMy fiancé and I visited the David Drive location for lunch today. This was our first visit to this location, and we were absolutely blown away at the level of service and quality of food. After what seemed like a short wait on a very busy Sunday, we were sat at a very clean booth and our waitress, with the name tag 'Smiley', promptly came to our area and welcomed us. After taking our order, she brought us a fresh brewed cup of coffee each, which I have to say was one of the best cups I've ever had. We made sure she knew how appreciative we were of waiting to give us a fresh cup. The food came and was absolutely perfect, with the bacon extra crispy as we asked, and everything else better than I expected. Smiley was very attentive and friendly, and honestly one of the best servers we have had. I had to come online to share a review, because it is not often one finds this level of service and food quality in a restaurant. I implore others to visit this location and hopefully have Smiley as their waitress. We even attempted to poach her by asking her where she lived, as we would hire her in a moment to work at the family diner. Waffle House should hold on to her as...
