Girard Playground — Attraction in Kenner

My teenager son and I were in the middle of playing tennis one morning in August, 2020 when several female pensioners arrived to demand us leave the court (rather viciously). They said that they "paid and reserved both courts" and "used both courts from 9 to 12 for all these years". I knew this was not truthful as all parish public tennis courts are first come first serve. The manager was called out who threatened us with calling police if we do not leave the court. One of the grandmas was nice to let us finish playing in the other court with no tree shades and the manager later made peace with us (we are of a minority group). We contacted the East Bank administration office regarding this incidence and Girard had since posted a new policy card for court usage (September, 2020). We have since returned a couple of times in the last 8 months but generally avoided the place even though it is well maintained...

Sucks my youth was so excited to go play basketball but there was a RUDE coach who said no one can use the basketball court during summer. I was like what???? Not a good thing for any kid like mine who loves sports with this only playground in the area with nowhere...
