Highlands Organic Market — Attraction in Kennewick

The products, great. Very happy with the options they provide (raw milk, unscented body care, etc). That is not why I’m here. Krispen (forgive if misspelled) goes above and beyond in service each time I have called with questions, even taking my number down and calling me back after a shipment of product came in. Today, though was the kicker. I went in for said shipment, was kindly asked if I was finding what I was looking for, and was given a few options with details on what else I was searching for. Then! I go to check out, ask for a price check on one food item, and decide against it, requesting it be put back. He kindly rings me up, making polite applicable conversation, and I see he’s put that item in the bag. I say ‘oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t want this anymore’ - to which he replies that he knew, but put it in anyways on the house. THEN, he opens the door for myself and my son who’s riding in the cart, walks me out, and offers to put my groceries in the trunk while I buckle my son in. And FINALLY, after I have said thank you 20 times and for him to have a good day, he comes BACK out with these cute mushroom tee shirts that they ‘just got in’ and gives me one for myself and my husband. God bless him! He just really made a shopping trip exceptional and extraordinary. I already planned on shopping there again, but he really drove that fact home. I used to love this place. They had everything that I needed in regards to hollisic health. I loved supporting their small business. I have brought many of my friends and family’s business to this place. But the way they treat their customers is the worst. Their employees are notorious for following you around making you FEEL as if you are trying to steal something. This has happened many many times. I have the upmost integrity between me and God and I have NEVER stolen anything and i’m not interested in stealing anything. In fact, I came to support the small business. Yet these guys love to follow you around and make you feel as if you are doing something wrong. Most recently I was in the store and the same man who’s usually working there was peeping behind me in an isle “pretending” to fix something. He then left and came back around the other side of me. He wasn’t actually doing anything other than leering. They have no respect for their customers. You leave the store feeling uncomfortable. You cannot browse in peace, and for that I don’t know if me and my family will be returning. I’ve contacted the manager about this and it seems to only have gotten worse. Wonderful place! They have everything you need to help you live a more healthy and happy lifestyle. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful and provide dedicated one on one assistance and services if needed. Fantastic place if you’re looking for food and medical alternatives, or if you’re looking to break away from pharmaceuticals and get back to your roots.

If you can’t find what you’re looking for, or they’re out of a product, the staff on hand will assist in making a special order to serve your needs. Since day one and beyond, the staff have been nothing but kind, patient and helpful even to the most unreasonable customers. They’re always calm and professional, while providing a homey feel.

Since the pandemic hit, this store has been wearing and providing masks well before the mandated date. My wife (High risk) and I always feel safe and comfortable knowing the store is being well managed and taking precautions to the highest caliber.

All in all, this store has been an immense blessing on our lives, and the lives of those we recommend it...
