Doesn't deserve 1 star even. Took phone to get screen replaced due to cracked screen. (Keep in mind that there was nothing wrong with this phone other then cracked screen). This was $145.00. They also installed a new screen protector for $25.00. 2 days, after new screen installed, the phone didn't work. Did a restart. Phone did this flashing and fuzzing out next day off and on. Took back to the same EZ fix (Clearwater st in Kennewick). They kept overnight and replaced the screen, warranty, But charged another $25 for a screen protector for this 2nd screen. This screen was too small for phone but they installed anyway and put the screen protector on slightly askew. Next day I tried to open the phone to make a call and couldn't press the side button in to wake up phone. Luckily my watch was functioning for my calls for the day. Though Not fun when I average 50 calls daily for my job. I pressed the side button later that day to see if it might work. This cracked the screen protector and screen. Took phone back to Ez fix for ANOTHER replacement and I said I'm NOT paying for another screen protector and get me a new screen...for the 3rd time. They said they had to order so will be a few days. The next day I went back and said forget it just give me a refund for the screen and the 2 screen protectors plus taxes of $211.77 as I was tired of their incompetence and the phone only cost $350 in first place. So I was just going to go get a new phone, which in hindsight I should have done in the first place. They refused refund any of my money and couldn't guarantee that the 3rd screen would even fit or that the tech could even install it properly since he couldn't handle the first 2 tries. So I took my now destroyed phone and went to purchase a new phone. I explained what had happened at EZfix to the rep at the counter. Apparently I'm not the only persons who has told him about EZfix issues, many requiring a new phone after a screen replacement. A few customers in the store said they too had bad experience with Ezfix on Clearwater. My new phone cost $240 and is one level higher than my destroyed 11 month one. I generally get 4 years out of my phones but not after letting EZfix touch it. It has been 1 week since this EZfix mess and I'm finally able to sit and write a review without cussing (but I sure want to). My phone is mandatory to keep in touch with my crew members. Read moreI cannot believe the trouble I've had being a customer at ezfix. Galaxy s10 new screen and case supposed to be $422 total with financing options to pay in full, turned out to be $523! So there is no pay it off same as cash deal like it says in the store! When I asked why the price difference the finance company said that's the price that ezfix invoiced them for, when i asked ezfix, they said it was because they charged me tax and that they shouldn't have because the finance company charges for tax and he trys to give me $40 back! Excuse me but is $40 the new $99? What really happened I have not got a straight answer, but I'm not buying the we charged you taxes and the finance company charges $50 right off the top, what? Then why didn't you tell me that the finance company charges $50 and why wasn't that added to my total amount due? He said we didn't know they charged that! Professional? not to me, not at all! And the fact still remains that even then $50 + $33=$83 not $99. Then I haven't even got into the fact that the screen protector started lifting the day I picked it up, and my finger print would not work anymore, so I had to go back into the store and explain to him I wanted my fingerprint to work with screen protector he said okay no problem and I waited for it to get done. Read moreId give zero stars if i could.....I am very disappointed about the quality of work that I have received at this establishment.( Clearwater location) I replaced my mom's phone screen in her phone 97days ago, and the inferior screen that they put in failed seven days outside of warranty. They refused to do anything with the warranty. But for another $100, we'll go ahead and replace the screen for you. They won't offer any extended warranty on their product or service. When I ask for like a 120-day warranty since this one failed literally one week to the day of the last replacement. They said no. They do not stand by their products that they sell. They use inferior and poor quality after market replacements. They will also try to up sell you and they also give bad diagnostic for the issue, they will also try and hold for phone ransom so you have to let them fix... They do not care about their customers or the service that they provide to them. If I were you, I would run not walk as far away from this establishment and any other ones that they are affiliated with and go to somebody else. For your cellphone and repair needs, they will scam you and cheat you in any way that they can. I do not have high hopes for this new screen replacement. They Purposely put you between a rock and hard place. So you don't have a lot of other options, so from this point forward. My mom will be backing up her phone every couple of days and taking her pictures off of her phone every day. So when this phone screen does fail, I know it will, hopefully not within 97 days again.
