Compass Art Center — Attraction in Kensington

Compass Art Center was the perfect space for my event!

The space was great for hosting a party, clean, spacious, and beautifully set up. Having tables and chairs included made planning so much easier.

Glen was super communicative and accommodating. I was able to book the space last minute, and he made sure everything was ready to go in time. Hosting a celebration in an art gallery was such a unique experience, my guests loved exploring the artwork on the walls, which made for great conversation and an inspiring atmosphere.

Accessing the space and cleaning up afterward were both simple and stress-free. Overall, Compass Art Center went above and beyond to make my event special. I will definitely be renting this space again.

I have a studio at Compass Art Center and as I am a recent graduate I have really appreciated the supportive community. Everyone is so kind and happy to share advice and resources.

I have yet to take a class, however the work of the students speak to the quality of these classes. There is such a variety of courses and workshops which cover traditional, foundational art techniques, as well as many different artistic mediums and styles; there truly is something for everyone. Even with a bachelors degree in fine arts I still plan to take classes here and am excited to learn from the knowledgeable...

In June, I moved my studio to Compass Art Center and could not be happier! It is a wonderful community of creatives. The monthly receptions and open studios always result in conversations with some of the most interesting people as they make their way through the building. Check the Compass website for the date and time of the next reception, and be sure to visit the open studios and The Art Cellar Gift Shop on the lower level while you are at it. BTW, Wheaton Arts Parade is also housed at the center. Like I said, a great place...
